I give this 5 stars as far as textbooks go. Albrecht writes an exceptional clear, direct, and easily understandable textbook that happens to also be interesting to the non-expert. In a rare occurrence for textbook writers I would be happy to encounter their work again.

One of the more readable accounting texts. I found the subject to be fairly common-sense based. Off to the final this afternoon.

I'm not professional fraud fighter, just interested in. Book provides interesting statistical tricks to find outliers and life example of fraud. There are tests and the end of each chapter.

Some of the chapters in the text can be very dry with too many technical terms.
