CA Miconi began reading at the age of five and has never stopped. Her childhood was filled with multiple readings of Gone with the Wind, the ultimate tragic novel. Barbara Jeanne always came across as a brat and even though she showed some good qualities every now and then, something was missing.

Nick was running…from a lot. But his endgame was admirable. But would he get there?

Barbara Jeanne’s misfortune was the best thing that could have happened. Little girls do grow up.

Barbara is a pampered rich heiress and to her greatest surprise, she ends up being kidnapped by the bratva. Nick is on an undercover mission when his “team” ends up kidnapping Barbara.

This was a quick and spicy read, with a tinge of suspense. While Barbara is innocent and unaware of the ways of the world, Nick is jaded and unwilling to force Barbara to take a risk with him. Be assured though, that you will still get a happy ending in the end.

I loved this story. It was sweet and steamy at the same time. Barbara Jeanne is kidnapped and falls into the hands of a dangerous group. Fortunately, one of the members is an undercover agent. But will he give up all the work he has put into this job for Barbara? Don't miss this one.
