Insanity #4

Hard Limits

Rate this book
Alexis, an ex-military veteran, has kept his live-in maid, Eryn, at arm’s length, never wanting to blur the lines and complicate things between them. Instead, he hankers for her from afar, wanting her but not giving into the lust he covets for her.

Eryn has been crushing on Alexis since she began her employment, and she's made no secret about how she feels. However, when she stumbles on his little playroom and it piques her curiosity, she desperately tries to break down the fortress he's built around himself.

When push comes to shove and Eryn draws the line, demanding he let her go so she can move on with her life, Alexis has a different idea, a plan to keep her close and his walls still intact around him.

But the foundation begins to crack and so does everything around them. Will Alexis and Eryn get their happy ending, or will he allow her to slip through his fingers and have to live with another regret.

Hard Limits is Sexy and Hot!

Alexis is ex Military and is battling his own demons. He’s also fighting his desire for his live in housemaid Eryn.
Eryn has had a rough life in the Foster System and took a job at 18 as Alexis housemaid. The attraction between these two Is intense. And only increasing the sexual tension when Eryn finds Alexis Sex Room.
With friends owning a BDSM club and fighting to keep Eryn at arms length, Alexis is fighting to hold himself together. And it’s causing issues in their friendship/relationship.

I absolutely loved Hard Limits from start to finish. All the side characters were also so loveable and I really hope there are more books to come exploring these characters.
This book had me invested from start to finish.
Cannot wait to read more of Lena Moores novels.

This series is so darn good!
Alexis (MMC) and Eryn (FMC) have an undeniably attraction for one another, but barriers prevent them from being together even after all these years. The push/pull is always so palpable in this authors writing style. A good balance of angst, action and spice.
Each book can be read independently, but I've really enjoyed reading them as a series. Each one has it's own unique element that keeps me interested and ready to read more. Even though I have read the series up to this point, I feel that the interweaving of new and old characters is easy to follow along.
For some reason, I thought that this was going to be the last book in the series, but I was happily proven wrong and I'm ready to read more of these couples!

I absolutely loved Alexis and Eryn's story! I cannot wait to see what kind of trouble Dyson got himself into. This is a series but can 100% be read as a stand alone! I will be going back and reading the other ASAP!

Pretty sure we just read our favorite book of the summer. It’s no secret, we’re fans of the insanity series. With each book, we’re sucked back into the world Lena created. Did I mention it's a world filled with dreamy men I’d like to create a Reverse Harem with? We devoured each book in the series like I go through Oreos, loving each book, begging for one more page filled with Lena’s words. However, this is by far our favorite book in the series. The push and pull between the characters is written so well, and the heat almost melted my kindle and cured El’s chocolate allergy. We absolutely loved Alexis and Eryn. Eryn’s character had dynamic other FMC aren't written with. Like all of Lena’s female mains, Eryne wasn’t a pushover, naïve or whiny. Both characters were brilliantly executed and the banter between all the side characters made us giggle. One of us is looking for a real life Rexton. He became a quick favorite in this book. We can’t wait to see what Lena has in store for Dyson. Overall, this book is one of the best books I've read this year. We will be recommending it to everyone.

I had such a fun time reading this book, I picked it up after not reading the first 3 (oopss!) but found it was easy to follow along and got sucked in. Needless to say i will be picking up the first 3 books to get my fix in. I loved Eryn and Alexis's story they had great chemistry. I loved that Eryn was a strong female lead. I enjoyed the humor in this book as well!

I am new to Lena Moore, but I must say this series has literally drawn me in. This book was a short easy read, full of spice, which is something that I love. I definitely can’t wait to read the next part of this book. I’m not giving any spoilers but give this book and the author a chance you will definitely thank me if you so.

Really good. This had a lot of dark moments but it was perfect. Very well written. Alexis and Eryn were amazing together. I’m glad Alexis finally got his head out of his butt and handled things. I loved all the characters in this book except for Rexton. He was a sneaky man.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5

I really enjoyed this book. My only downside to it was the 3rd person factor which I am not a big fan of, but other than that, it was a good read.

Alexis, an ex-military veteran has a thing for his live i maid, Eryn, however, he keeps her very much at arms length. Eryn has had a thing for Alexis too, and has made that known, but gets rejected on more than one occasion, to which she has finally had enough. Alexis thinks Eryn is too good for him and his dark past but never really gives them a chance. But of course, any time Eryn attempts to move on, he is there putting himself in the middle.

There is also an air of mystery as one of Alexis’ best friends from the military has caused some issues for himself and has asked Alexis for help. Therefore putting himself into a tailspin as his emotions and PTSD seem to get ahold of him on several occasions.

Everyone knew how they felt about one another, but Eryn had enough until one day they come to an agreement. The agreement was short lived as Eryn has an opportunity arise and Alexis then pushes her away and ends it abruptly still not coming to terms with how he felt.

I loved how Eryn stood up for herself every chance she could as she was not going to continue down the path of destruction that was her feelings for Alexis. She was a strong female character. Alexis more so felt like he had too many issues to bring someone else into the picture and took the cowards way out which Eryn made sure to let him know.
