“The limits are endless!” is a hilarious way to end a book that’s trying to be inspiring and leave you with the idea that you can do it!
Overall, it’s a good book. I teach a lot of the same material, and I agree with almost everything the author says.
Her books sometimes seem more like a collection of thoughts glued together in a row than one cohesive thought with supporting details, and this book is no exception. Also, the whole copied-and-pasted AI example did more to make the point that AI produces boring rehashed crap than to make me consider using it if I wasn’t already. Amazing how the state of the art has changed, even in just one year. That section felt like it was mostly there to take up space, which is weird, because the author advocates writing short books anyway. Whatever, I just skipped past it when it kept going.
I guess I was hoping this book was going to add more about the strategy of writing money-making books to what I already read in Serial Cash, but it was just an overview of ways authors can make money. I have a handout that I give away sometimes with all the same ideas, so this didn’t give me the sparklies, but I’m sure it’s a revelation to most readers.
Michelle has a strategy and toolkit which is informative and potentially helpful to many. It might require adaptation but that's to be expected. Glad to see the AI updates included.
“Write Your Way to $100K” is a game-changer for anyone looking to transform their knowledge into a profitable business through writing. This book provides a clear roadmap on how to share your expertise and how to use it to create income.
I was looking for opportunities to monetize my writing and stumbled across this on Amazon. Packed full of info for a newbie writer like me. Definitely recommend.
Author says two paths, gives very passing mention of fiction authors and then the whole book is about writing nonfiction books to get leads for course sales.
This was okay but I felt it could’ve been better. I feel like this sometimes it’s a little more about getting books out and having the quantity over quality vibes from this author. While it is informative and it’s worked for her others want to really enjoy their writing and what they put out in the world.
