In this book, I've gathered insights from folks I've met along the way — about 53 of them, all sharing their own stories of navigating life's twists and turns. From friends in our local church to acquaintances who understand the ups and downs of being a senior, their voices paint a colorful picture of what it means to grow older.
Working on the book has given me an unusual opportunity to feel like others feel about getting older. If anything, this experience has enabled me to appreciate where I am at this time of my life. Furthermore, I have been compelled to open my eyes and see what life is like for many who endure daily obstacles. If anything, this experience helps me appreciate where I am in this time of my life.
