Rylan was exiled because he reported Chet for stealing funds for his gambling but he was accused of stealing instead. Terra missed her mate who just left as the alpha said but Rylan kept watch over her. Terra got upset at a mating ceremony went to help her mother with the lotions they made decided to go on a run instead she found Chet and his guys. Rylan followed her to cut her off but she got hurt he wasn’t fast enough took her home, when she woke up she thought she was dreaming. He talked to her to have her get him in to see the alpha at first she wouldn’t consider it but got him in, told the alpha that his money was coming up missing because Chet was gambling on illegal fights again but Chet made a liar again. Rylan had one hour to get out of the territory and if found would be killed. Terra found him told her everything so Terra, Rylan and her best friend Ember a great fighter came up with a plan to get their alpha to the fights, showed him Chet gambling and heard him say there was more money he could get. Rylan went into a fight to stop Ember from one of the brutal fighter but he got the bad hand Ember had to go in and save Rylan. Terra and Rylan true mate bond saved him. Good book,.

Part of the Wolves of Oakwood series each with a sexy alpha who breaks the rules at times and the one that is forbidden. Terra is sweet a little spicy but hurting after the death or so she thought of her mate living alone no matter how much time passes the hurt doesn’t seem to go away and when she lands in into, he is the one who steps in to save her but leaves her with so many questions. Tylan sexy as all get out exile from his pack fighting every day for a crime, he didn’t commit yet his alpha exiled him walking away from the one woman who held his heart which was harder than been accused for something he didn’t do and when he witnesses her about to be hurt, he steps in saving her knowing it will open so many questions. As we know with mates, they can’t really walk away from each other, but will he tell the truth behind his exile, will they figure out who set him up, can they get enough evidence to prove to the alpha he is innocent, and can two imperfect people yet perfect for one another find happiness that isn’t tainted with an exile?

EXILED MATE is the fourth installment in the Wolves Of Oakwood series by Vera Rivers. Ms Rivers brings us characters you love or hate and storylines that keep you turning the pages. 

Rylan was exiled from his pack for a crime he didn't commit, leaving Terra, the woman he loves, behind without even a goodby. Now worry about her and fear that his old pack will soon be in a downward spirel that destroys them, has set him on a mission to convince the Alpha of what's coming and why. By coming back he may have signed his own death sentence.

I was drawn into this fast paced story from the beginning. I really enjoyed reading about these two and their love for each other that finally brings them together to try to right wrongs and save their pack.

Although part of a series, this story  can be read as a stand alone. I loved it and would recommend this story. Now, onto the next installment, Ember's story in LOST FATE.

'Exiled Mate' is the fourth book in Vera Rivers' "Wolves of Oakwood" series. Even though it's part of the series it can be read as a standalone. Rylan has been exiled from the pack for a crime he didn't commit. Some of the pack members know that but others, including Terra, his fated mate think he's dead. If you know anything about a fated mate pair then you know Terra is not handling his death easily. Fortunately and unknowingly, Rylan has been watching over her in the background but when he realizes what's going on and his mate is about to be hurt, he makes himself known. There are a lot of unanswered questions and a lot to be done if he's going to save his pack and clear his name, all while trying to become worthy of the mate Fate has given him. It's a wonderfully written storyline with characters that are easy to connect with. If you want to know how they get their happy ending, because, of course, they will, then grab it now.

Second chance at love

This is the forth in the "Wolves of Oakwood" series and follows straight on from "Her Fake Mate". A sweet romance with action, drama, surprises, humor, love, wolf & fox shifters, twists and a HEA.

Terra is mourning Rylan being exiled from the pack a few years before when he was accused of something; thinking that the one who would be her mate is gone for good. Though she doesn't realise he's been keeping an eye on her all this time from the shadows, trying to find a way to prove his innocence.

When he saves her from an attack their attraction for each other gives him a renewed reason for clearing his name. But with only a month before his 30th can they manage it, or will he lose his ability to shift and his chance to be with his fated mate?.

Terra has been heartbroken for two years, and no matter how much time has passed, she continues to mourn her dead mate.
Tylan was exiled from his pack after being set up to take the blame for missing pack funds. Now he is back to warn the alpha it is happening again, and again he is not to blame. As a side note, he is about to become thirty and lose his ability to shift, so no pressure!
There is a lot of story crammed into these 87 pages: for Terra and Rylan there is no-one else, and this comes across in this short story. The threat to the pack funds is still in a place of trust and proving his innocence will take a team effort. A great story that although short, was well worth the read.

Exile Mate is an amazing paranormal romance book that is written in a different aspect compared to others. Terra in the beginning of the story has a difficult time see others be with their fated mate, while she couldn’t due to the fact she believed he is dead. Thinking about her fated mate causes her to cry because she misses him. Rylan was sadly banished from the pack, but certain people believe he’s dead. I’m happy to see that Terra eventually finds out that Rylan is in fact alive and they eventually come together as fated mates. I thought this book to be written very well. I’m going to check out more books by this author.

Terra had attached the 'Fated Mate' ceremony for Zander and Mia; it brought the memory of what might have been for her before Zander met Mia who turned out to be his fated mate. But also the memory of Rylan whom she was told was dead after being exiled 2 years before. She still hasn't gotten over Rylan. When Rylan saved her when there is attempt to force her to fight, she discovers Rylan is still alive. Will she be willing to help him speak to the Alpha to possibly clear his name? Will there be a future for them?.

We get to follow Terra and Rylan in this story. Who are Zander and Mia? Why does Terra seem so angry? Who is Rylan? How does Terra know him? Why does Rylan's name cause Terra so many issues? What was the deal? What happened? Who is Chet, and what does he have to do with everything that happened to Rylan? What is up with Chet and Thorn? How do Terra, Ember, and Rylan give proof to Thorne that he says he needs before renewing his orders to Rylan and his comments to the enforcers? Read and see how things turn out!

This was a beautiful story. We follow Terra and Rylan. In their story, nothing is what it seems, just as they try to accept that Rylan, the man she loved, is no longer there. What is her surprise when it later turns out that he is still alive, but was rejected for something that is not true. Will they now get a second chance at happiness? And what was the real reason he was banished and who was behind it? An exciting and wonderful story that will keep you glued to your book.

Two years ago, Rylan was falsley accused and exhiled from the pack. Terra has always loved him - but believed him to be dead - until he turned up again. Where has he been and why cant he tell her the truth? Will they ever be able to convince Thorne tha he is innocernt? Loved it! Great characters and an excellent story line.

Rylan James is Terra’s fated mate. Hes our handsome wolf shifter MMC.
Rylan was forced to leave the pack because of being falsely accused of something he didn’t do, by Chet, a pack member. Alpha Thorn sent him from the pack.
Can these two get together again and get proof Rylan is innocent. Read this fairly quick story to see how it all goes down. 👍🏻🥰.

Exiled Mate' is the fourth book in Vera Rivers' "Wolves of Oakwood" series. Although part of a series, this story can be read as a stand alone. We follow Terra and Rylan. I was drawn into this fast paced story from the beginning. It's a wonderfully written storyline with characters that are easy to connect with. These stories aren't very long, but are well written. This was a well written, quick read and I can't wait to read what happens to the next couple in the series.

Terra has a tough time accepting that the man she loves is gone. Then she finds out that he is alive and was banished for a reason that was a lie. They find their way back to each other and end up almost losing each other again. This is a good story but makes it unclear about how fated mates are found.

So many lame plot holes but that was fine. What killed it for me what that

A. He left her without explanation and let her beleive he was dead
B. She openly told him she was celibate the entire 2 year separation. He said nothing. So either he was with OW or he didn't think she deserved a clear explanation. Both suck
