(Bk#1) I can still feel the blush running up my neck to my face the beginning of this series is panty melting hot and Carter is most definitely a domineering man Bella doesn't stand a chance of resisting him however she's a little firecracker herself. (BK2) There was no stopping once I started reading this story it held me hostage from beginning till the end and left me jonesing for more. Carter is something else with his punishments he doles out to Isabelle. Carter and Isabelle's story kept me on pins and needles all the way through and always waiting for the other shoe to drop and it does many times. (BK3) Ok this one swept me off my feet between the steamy side of darkness and the painful heartache to the bang bang of gun battles of one mafia crime organizations against the other. At no point did I find a place to stop reading this book and I ended up reading it to the wee hours. I not only found this series to be fascinating, but I recommend it to any one who's a mafia addict like me.

Ivy Black and Raven Scott kept the action, the danger, and the drama going at a frenetic pace throughout this series. Carter Blackthorne is a difficult character to have sympathy for: he’s chaotic, angry, and sadistic in every facet of his life. Isabella is an innocent young woman who catches Carter’s attention and she’s doesn’t have the experience to handle all of his demands in her new life or in his bed.

Each book is fraught with emotional, physical, and psychological trauma that seems never ending. Isabella becomes Carter’s ‘weak’ spot and a target to manipulate. She grows as their relationship develops, but without his family’s support and a friendship it would have been almost impossible to sustain. I loved how Carter eventually acknowledged that he loved Isabella enough to make some changes and that she matured enough to become his partner in life.

feathers and blood-Carter and Bella's story will have you hooked! hes on the hunt for a lookalike for his stepsister who died and Bella fits the bill and with her debts mounting Carter comes in with a solution but will it become something more? well written engaging twists desires steamy dark scenes and more.

blood stained wings-Carter has his Isabella where he wants but his over bearing and protectivness, overwhelms isabella. But can they move forward through it all. Well written great story engaging steamy, Pain and pleasure I can't wait for more.

shattered wings - Carter and Bella story continues, after all they have been through there are struggles still ahead for the pair can they go the distance. Well written engaging, action, drama desires and more a great addition to the series.

I enjoyed reading this dark romance set. This is the first three books in the series. This is by an author that I never hesitate to pick up. I enjoy the use of details that make the story realistic. This is a well written story about Bella and Carter. Their story is one that is full of romance and even some suspense. They are great characters that have an attraction like no other. I enjoyed watching their growth as well as their chemistry throughout the story. Their story is fast paced, engaging and hard to put down. This is one you do not want to miss. I really enjoyed this book and I highly recommend it.

This series is dark, intense and consuming. Please be sure to check the trigger warnings before you start reading. This is Carter and Isabella's story and it follows these two broken individuals journey beginning in Feathers And Blood ending with Shattered Wings. These two come together in a most unconventional way. Their journey is full of chaos, action, danger, drama and lots of twists and turns. Yet in the end it seems they've found their healing in their own way.

Carter and Isabella's journey of love is a dark and steamy one. This is a heartbreakingly beautiful romance from the rollercoaster ride of emotions and intense chemistry to the page turning storyline, steam, unexpected twists, danger, and suspense. The writing is well done and the characters are well developed. I recommend this series and these authors to everyone who loves dark and twisted romances. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Honestly the story itself was good but the spicy scenes leave something to be desired, they are spicy but this depicts a D/S relationship in a very unflattering light and borders on abuse. It’s very disheartening to read him say over and over that he’s in charge/has all the power this is simply not the case in that type of dynamic it’s an exchange based on trust and this doesn’t respect it at all nor to mention the lack of care when it comes to her being completely untouched by a man.

not my favorite

Honestly I never leave book reviews but this was probably one of the most annoying FMC’s i’ve ever read. Every single time she left the house they were getting ambushed of some sort. The author’s try to give the impression of a rich powerful MMC but he is anything but. Very predictable I always finish books but I almost couldn’t here.
