A lethal killing machine gets in touch with her feelings as this action-packed progression fantasy continues.
The cyborg known as NSLICE-00P—Non-Standard Leashed-Intelligence Cybernetic Enforcer—was created to be an unstoppable weapons platform that could take out even the strongest of heroes. But when she was cast out of her own reality, she found herself without orders or a controller—but with a new lease on life.
Joined by her loyal compatriots—and a beyond-loyal corps of cyborg-enhanced critters—NSLICE-00P is taking an active role in shaping her altered circumstances. Part of which means gathering allies for the Empire, which has been getting overwhelmed by new dungeons, leading to more monsters than anyone can handle. So it’s lucky for everyone that, in addition to her formidable physical armory, NSLICE-00P now has a growing magical arsenal at her disposal. And she’s going to need every weapon she can get her hands on.
Because someone very high up in the Imperial power structure is making a bid for dominion. And a key component to his nefarious plan involves the use—and betrayal—of a certain high-powered cyborg . . .
The third volume of the hit LitRPG fantasy series—with more than two million views on Royal Road—now available on Kindle, Kindle Unlimited, and Audible!
And than is used way too much in this book. This book is still very stat heavy. It’s still enjoyable series to read with its unique storyline. The rat and spider are background characters in this book so you don’t have to listen to their voices as much. The narrators did a great job despite my last comment.
Our favorite cyborg is back with lots of action, adventure, and kicking butt. I eagerly await the next book. I am also reallying enjoy how the found family aspect is coming about in this series. If you’re looking for a series to get lost in for a while, this is it for sure.
Icalos creates a protagonist that is amazingly child like and OP at the same time. The 3 book series thus far is a wild ride full of adrenaline and intrigue. A must read!
Continue to love NSLICE's character journey, and hilarious side character. Curious to see what a finale to this series looks like, someday. Hope there's plenty more installments between now and then.
I enjoyed reading this book very much and I recommend this book to anyone who likes LitRPG ,progression and dungeon types of books with lots of action.
fun, whimsical, and completely overpowered. Say what? Expanding into the multiverse? Extra dimensions? New magical systems? This unit is delighted to read more.
This one ended up being my favorite in the series. It has the right mix of forward momentum in the larger story, political maneuvering, big-scale battles, more intimate fights, and nice upgrades to skill and stat progression, not to mention some weighty emotional stakes at the end.
I also liked finally getting to see Imperial life and society on a grander scale.
