And Than…
And than is used way too much in this book. This book is still very stat heavy. It’s still enjoyable series to read with its unique storyline. The rat and spider are background characters in this book so you don’t have to listen to their voices as much. The narrators did a great job despite my last comment.

Gets better
Our favorite cyborg is back with lots of action, adventure, and kicking butt. I eagerly await the next book. I am also reallying enjoy how the found family aspect is coming about in this series. If you’re looking for a series to get lost in for a while, this is it for sure.

Pretty great series until this book. The party is given high authority but is always told "you are not strong enough" when asking about their mission. It's so annoying. USE YOUR FUCKING AUTHORITY AS A INQUISITOR TO ARREST THE FUCKER UNTIL HE GIVES YOU THE INFO. It's just manipulations all the way down because the MC has as much social sense as a toaster.

Perfect blend of SciFi and fantasy
Icalos creates a protagonist that is amazingly child like and OP at the same time. The 3 book series thus far is a wild ride full of adrenaline and intrigue. A must read!

It’s a fun installment, not a standalone. Still a coming of age, self discovery series. We learn a bit more about the world and characters. Good pacing, nice world building. Awesome narrator. Please enjoy

Continue to love NSLICE's character journey, and hilarious side character. Curious to see what a finale to this series looks like, someday. Hope there's plenty more installments between now and then.

This one ended up being my favorite in the series. It has the right mix of forward momentum in the larger story, political maneuvering, big-scale battles, more intimate fights, and nice upgrades to skill and stat progression, not to mention some weighty emotional stakes at the end.
I also liked finally getting to see Imperial life and society on a grander scale.
