Edward Newman is a highly trained sleep specialist on the road to fulfilling his life’s ambition of becoming renowned in his field of expertise. However, upon the opening of his surgery, on the Brompton Road in London, it quickly becomes apparent that a number of people from the surrounding area have been awaiting his services. But what they need help with seems beyond both his comprehension and capabilities.
Ed soon finds himself out of his depth, caught up in a journey through time that he has no control over. Will he be able to solve the mystery of this, as yet unknown phenomenon, or will subsequent events take over completely?
Can Ed and his team stretch the realms of physics even beyond what they have experienced already in order to put things right?
I'm not normally a Sci-Fi reader but decided to give this one a go. With deliciously concise chapters and a good plot, this book made for an enjoyable and pragmatic read. I liked the ways the characters interlinked and developed over time. Well done to the authors - a fine pair of debut novelists.
