A glorious, inspiring read. Exceptionally well written.

You could be someone with all but no interest in drinks culture, or even an abject teetotaler, and this book will not fail to charm, inspire, and satisfy. Mr. Well’s writing is exquisite, as pleasurable to read as it effective in provoking joy and awe for the subject and its makers. Mr. Well’s enthusiasm is contagious, and he somehow simultaneously captures a rousing call-to-arms and a gently pastoral, orchard-scented meditation. Loved it and will continue to look forward to his latest efforts.

Informative, witty and hugely readable.
Lots of knowledge about this little known drink but not at all like a text book.
Highly recommended
