Hats off for Casimir Volansky. It is not every overweight sixty year old man that will ignore the friendly smiles of a voluptuous young blond.
Just as well. It saved his life!
A prequel to a new series author Jonathan Moeller certainly caught my attention once again with a little vignette full of surprise and interesting new take on creatures from the shadows. The character of Casimir is surprisingly well drawn in a few strokes and very likeable. As is the plot.
Which, of course, also is a great introduction to the new series.
Enjoy.
