DNF at 36% How many hockey figurative language examples can one use in a chapter!? Too many! And I have never heard an audiobook narrator actually read “asterisk” to indicate a section break. I’m not sure if this was the narrator’s first audiobook but it was hard to follow dialogue since everyone spoke in the same voice, guys included.
The plot seemed to advance very quickly and there were moments and lines that didn’t make sense. Blah.

I didn't love the story and the implied love triangle. Additionally, I listened to it as an audiobook and the reader was not good - everything was pretty monotone and no voice changes for the 3 characters who's POV we are getting. It was really hard to remember whose character was being read without looking halfway through sometimes.
