The first story in this box set is the only reason this is getting three stars because things went downhill from there. I read very quickly, but this one dragged out because I couldn’t keep reading and had to take a day or two off between the stories. There is a lot of potential here, but it needs some major editing and rewriting to make it more palatable.
Mountain Man’s Baby Surprise was a decent story. Alex and Emily were somewhat believable and had some chemistry. Parts of the plot were slow and some felt rushed, but it was the best story of the three.
The second story, Dr Grump’s Baby Surprise was a disaster. Althea and Elijah were absolutely TOXIC. There was not a single healthy relationship in the entire story. Drama for drama sake and too much angst for no reason. I barely made it through.
Story three, Tempting Grump Next Door is slightly better, but the characters seem like caricatures of adults stuck in middle school. Blaming each other for things that are obviously not their fault. For example, your alcoholic brother going out for drinks with his best friend (who doesn’t realize he’s an alcoholic) is not to blame for your brother’s choices the next day.
Overall, I would not recommend this set, although with some editing and rewriting (more complex sentences and less repetitive dialog), there is potential for these stories.

Brilliant boxset
Damaged Boss Daddy
Cody and Emma meet on a blind date. Cody remembers Emma from high school, but she doesn’t remember Cody. His memories of her of her are not. While at school Emma used to just stand by while her friends "bullied" people, him included. While at school Cody looked different, he was chubbier and had teenage spots. Now he has grown , filled out and is handsome and sexy. Emma can still come across as a spoilt and bit of a madam. Lets say the date does not go that well.
Cody is the next in line to take over his grandfather's company. Emma is a
a freelance journalist who is down on her luck.
Both try and fight the hot chemistry, and to make things more complicated they strike a deal to start a fake relationship to help them overcome their current problems. Oh that is when the fun starts. Sweet lord these two need a good shake. Add the fact Cody is Emma's brother's friend, you know problems are around the corner. But the chemistry and physical attraction between them is off the charts and one night of passion changes everything. How will Cody react to the news of her unexpected pregnancy? Will he be happy or mad? As how would her brother take the news as well?
Drama, angst, heat and love.

Alex’s car breaks down in a small town, where one of the B&Bs he owns is. He demands a room even though there are no rooms available. Emily, is very calm and offers him a room. It is her room. Alex is first not impressed , until Emily tells him again, it this is or a hotel chain. So they end up sharing her room. Both realise that they went to high school together. Alex the jock and Emily the nerd. Alex is grumpy and demanding , while Emily can’t seem to get over her high school crush, both have a attraction to the other and things get steamy. Slowly the deal of benefits only, grows into a very gently and caring friendship and more. Between secrets of the past, interfering parents , gossips and two pink links.
I fell in love with these characters, at first wanting to shout at them, and them shout again. As the characters grow and the characters grow, I fell in love with them. I rooted for them.
The right amount emotions, growth, humour and sexy heat.

Book 1 ~ Mountain Man's Baby Surprise is set in Virgina's mountains in the winter when the owner of a B&B shows up when the place is full and shares a room with the beautiful manager as a blizzard and car trouble extends his stay. Fun romance!
Book 2 ~ Dr. Grumps Baby Surprise moves from a cruse to Antartica to living next door in New Jersey for the doctor and the social media influncer.
Book3 ~ Tempting Grump Next Door brings developer Grayson back to his home town to build a stadium. His old girlfriend, Mirianda isn't happy to see him after he left without saying goodby. Problems follow them involving an ex and alcholism until they figure it out.

The first story was ok. I DNF’ed the second. The word choices were odd.
