Deceitful Reflection has an engaging story and compelling characters that kept me curious throughout. The premise and tension were strong, and the plot had moments that really drew me in. That said, the reading experience was occasionally pulled out of immersion by editing issues, including misspellings, inconsistent punctuation, and dialogue or continuity quirks. Some emotional beats didn’t land as strongly as they could have, but the story itself remained interesting. With careful editing, this could be a very compelling read. Even as-is, it’s worth exploring for the plot and characters.

This book was a very quick read and great for a read while traveling. Overall the twist and turns in this book really shocked me and I would say the author did a great job keeping you on the edge of the seat to know what happens. Let’s say the last 20 pages had my jaw hit the floor and I didn’t see it coming. I would be interested in reading from the author again if they write another book.

The concept for this book was easy to guess, but completely unique. The main character was able to do what everyone who has ever been cheated on wishes they could. It was a little confusing jumping from character to character without warning, but still a great read!
