I have been studying and reading books on eschatology since The Late Great Planet Earth was released in the early 1970s, so when I saw this book on the shelf in Barnes and Noble, I wasted part of a gift card to purchase it. I should have taken a moment and more closely perused it instead of judging it by the title on the cover. There is apparently a market for this author and his wife since it appears they have published others. I am most definitely not! A lifelong Christian, I hardly expected to read MAGA nonsense such as "Donald Trump returns to the throne" and how "woke" (i.e., Jesus teachings) are "anti-christ". Did you know that the Total Solar Eclipse of 2024 was not a well-predicted scientific event but rather an X event (?) that converged in Kansas City and ferreted out "dark forces"? I could cite many other examples. Suffice it to say the authors know all of this because of prophetic signs including dreams, hearing voices, and visions. Even as a follower of "the left wing propaganda machine" (p 232), I do agree w/the author that "Heightening our discernment is vital not only to differentiate between the true and the false, but [also] to raise up a standard against it" (p 305). I hope that others considering this book use their discernment skills to scan its contents prior to purchasing it.
