MITCH LARSSON WAS A REGULAR MAN LIVING A REGULAR LIFE AS A HUSBAND AND FATHER. AS MIDDLE AGE APPROACHED, SOMETHING CHANGED AND HE MADE A SNAP DECISION THAT WOULD CHANGE HIS LIFE AND THE LIVES OF MANY WOMEN IN WAYS HE COULD NEVER HAVE REALISED...Time for Her chronicles an intense period in Mitch's life where he embarked on a spiritual journey as a highly successful male escort and learnt many valuable lessons about the complexities of life, relationships and what women needed from a paid lover.
He soon finds his emotional resilience tested when faced with the heartbreaking reality of being the final companion to a terminally ill client, whilst simultaneously giving his all to please kinky clients, virgins, survivors of abuse and even crazy cat ladies.
Time for Her exposes the hidden truths of what it is to be a male sex worker in a taboo industry where real humanity is often overlooked...
I first heard about Mitch’s story after reading “The Two of Us” article with him and his dad in Good Weekend a year or so ago, and added this book to my TBR list, waiting for the right time to read it.
I found his experiences and insights into women and relationships from his perspective as a male escort really interesting and thought-provoking. He also shares his struggles with substance abuse and mental health, which were more intense at times than I expected.
The ending felt especially sad, with the story of Sam being truly heartbreaking. If you’re looking for a memoir that blends human connection with raw self-reflection, this could be for you but it’s worth knowing the tone before you start.

Time for Her: A Male Escort’s Memoir of Love” by Mitch Larsson (real name Dan Larsson) is a raw, unflinching look into the life of a Melbourne-based male escort. I’ve long been curious about escorts’ hidden lives, and Larsson’s memoir, candid and brave, draws a vivid portrait. He recounts his escapades—some electrifying, some devastating—as he battles addiction, loses a marriage, and ultimately transforms into a devoted father. While the pacing slows a bit toward the end, the journey is powerful—an honest meditation on love, regret, and reinvention.
The second edition of “Time for her” and the continuing story of Mitch Larsson did not disappoint in any way shape or form. More interestingly beautiful and captivating insights from Mitch and his journey in the sex industry. Loved it! Exciting read
Heartwarming story that’s given me a new understanding of the industry. Only criticism is that like many independently published books that I’ve read, it just seems to have missed its final proofread. Scattered grammatical errors throughout the piece that became a bit distracting.
