I picked this up while visiting Decorah with my wife a few months back. On a superficial level, I admit I appear to reside firmly outside the book’s target demographic. I have no experience hunting outside of occasionally shooting backyard birds with my BB gun as a boy, and my knowledge of the universe relates almost entirely to our solar system. Upon reading, however, one sees that while Wilkerson’s writing may be structured around small game hunting and astrophysics, they are simply the lens through which his meditations on passion, purpose, and approaches are delivered. A tremendous read!
