Run-on sentences and copious missing punctuation make this difficult to read. I found it impossible: it felt like the author wrote all the poems, cut out individual words or short phrases, tossed them all in a hat, and pulled them out, sometimes at random, only sometimes with intention, and repasted them into something more collage than text. It's more about the poet's product than something created in an effort to communicate.
4.5 rounded down for global. More than requisite amount of birds for a Birdingham, er, Brittingham winner. “Enjoyed” may not be quite the right word but this was one of the more solid collections start to finish. Cohesive without a doubt but not repetitive in a “one-trick” pony way or way that feels lazy.
