All things work together . . . Come to me, all who are weary . . . Trust in the Lord with all your heart . . . The hairs of your head have all been counted . . . Mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.
Despite decades of preaching experience, it was just a few years ago that best-selling author Robert J. Morgan (Then Sings My Soul) began to note the magnitude and frequent use of the word "all" in the Bible. Upon closer inspection, it appears to amplify many of God’s greatest truths, commands, and promises nearly six thousand times, proving itself to be what Morgan calls "the largest little word in the world."
My All in All is the fruit of his unique study, a 365-day devotional that will assure readers of God’s purposes, power, and grace time and again.
Robert Morgan has done it again- written an interesting, easy to read devotional book that breaks down profound truths and applies them in a way we can understand.
I couldn't help myself, so instead of reading this book a day at a time, as most devotionals are intended to be read, I read it straight through. What a challenging, inspiring, joyful book this is! You might not want to read it the way I did, but DO read it. You will be blessed ... In fact, I have never read anything by Robert J. Morgan that did not bless me.
This book is another encouraging study. It is divided into daily readings for the year with each day focusing on a different verse with "all" in it. In most cases, they were truly encouraging. Sometimes they were challenging. But, ultimately this book practically helps us understand and practice that Jesus Christ truly is our all in all.
