I've always thought that I would be happily married and ready to start a family by the time I turned 24 but here I am just mere hours after being cheated on by the man I gave the last three years of my life to.
Have you ever heard the saying, life can pass you by in the blink of an eye? I didn’t think it was an accurate representation of what happens but the past few weeks proved me wrong. I fell out of love with Travis, helped the woman Travis cheated on me with, and hooked up with his boss.

None of that could prepare me for what was to come. I thought I knew Travis, that he was open and honest with me, but as he held me at gunpoint, I found I didn’t know him at all.

This book was a whole new style for me! I must say it was an awesome read with lots of twist and turns not all bad though. Lailani had me questioning her on some things lol. I was like Girl wth are you doing but she was a great leading Lady let me tell you! Darius oh what a absolute sweetheart of a man he was! Loved him! Let me tell you I absolutely HATED jasmine oh I hated Travis also but Janine ugh girl you were trash!!! Can’t wait for book 2 🤪.

Great series

This was such a good start to the series. Lani and Darius are made for each other. Even with all the drama with the ex, he's showing her heel be there every step of the way to protect her. But I do hope Myw and Kyle get together. In the next series. Yup, there's a cliffhanger lol
