Christle Hart is an author, educator, and curriculum developer whose writing is shaped by Celtic mythology, the natural world, and the quiet possibility that more exists around us than we can see.

She is the author of Flowers and Dreams, the first book in The Némain Trilogy. Set among the misty forests of Washington’s Olympic Peninsula, the novel blends family secrets, prophetic dreams, Celtic mythology, ancestral magic, and the echo of those who came before. She is currently writing Roses and Nightmares, the second book in the trilogy, which ventures more deeply into the darkness of Némain’s past.

Christle is also the author of Thoughts from a Druid: Living the Life of a Modern Day Druid and the creator of The Fantastical Adventures of Guinevere & Merlin, a children’s series filled with curiosity, mischief, and magic. She is developing classroom lesson plans to accompany Guinevere and Merlin’s adventures.

With nearly twenty years of experience working with children and adolescents, Christle brings a deep understanding of family, resilience, identity, and personal growth to her stories. She also creates flexible, nature-based curriculum designed to support children with different academic, developmental, and regulation needs.

Whether she is writing for adults or children, Christle enjoys placing ordinary characters at the edge of something extraordinary and asking what might happen if they step across.

I read this book in just 2 days. It's a fun read full of mvstery and unique twists and turns in the magic and fairy world. I liked how it focuses on familv. The book is light-hearted with a friendly and warm feel. I think it would be a good read for people of all ages. Christie is good at describing the world and scenes so you're not left wondering "what the heck does that even look like?" She did a good job of showing the ties everyone had and their relationships. I look forward to the rest of the trilogy.

The atmosphere is charming and comforting, especially for middle grade or early YA readers who enjoy fantasy that feels safe and wholesome.

Personally, I found myself wanting a bit more depth and emotional complexity, but I can absolutely see this resonating strongly with younger fantasy readers just beginning their journey into magical worlds. My 12 year old daughter would love this book.

Overall, a gentle and cozy introduction to a new series and I’ll definitely read the next two books.

If you like a cozy read then this book is for you.
The story is super nice and cozy, the characters are lovable and nice, they offer a sense of union and calm and love and strength. The book is a nice escape from the harsh reality we live in and the books that break our hearts and puts us in a reading slump.
The story offers the reader a glimpse into the world of ancient magic and wonder.
Maggie is the perfect girl next door with an amazing family with a past that will make you want to cuddle with all of them. They are friendly and lovable and kind.
This book is a gush of fresh air with a nice twist.
The twist at the end opens the door perfectly for the second book and I can't wait to read it.

When Maggie and her family move into the home that has been passed down generation after generation on her father’s side, her life is completely changed.

What started as a curiosity of items found during the clean out in her new bedroom in the attic, transformed into a tale of mystery, magic, and family legacy. This story truly transports you into Maggie’s experiences.

This book reads like a dream feels and is very whimsical. It makes you question what is reality right alongside Maggie.

I don't read many books in this genre, but I really enjoyed this story. It didn't take long for me to become invested in the main characters and the plot. If not for lack of time I probably would have read it in one sitting, because I wanted to know how it ended. I liked the unexpected twist with the best friend toward the end.
There were some places I thought the pacing could have been a bit tighter. Some situations would have been fine with fewer characters to keep track of. A few technical things could have used a little more polish.
Overall, though, I truly enjoyed the story and I look forward to reading the second book in the series when it's available.
