Read it in one morning.
A potent collection of thoughts and reflective pieces of poetry and prose that could not be more timely for someone who is constantly ruminating on their place in the world and more specifically in the world of art and literature. Sometimes one just needs to get their thoughts written down and printed to make themselves known, put something to their name to make sure they existed. Blake Cateris shares some poignant meanderings that tread the lines between an isolated, lost soul, and a self-actualised, open-hearted human being in a time where everyone is watching, for as long as their attention span and scrolling thumbs can allow. An exploration of love, identity and the beauty of life, dipping into the futility of the consumerist attitude towards art and music. A great book to have on you just to remind you that you're not alone in feeling inadequate in the face of the industry you love, but damn driven to succeed anyway.
