Title: Two Drops of Chaos

Review:

A quirky cozy with a unique supernatural twist! When a councilman is crushed to death by a giant pumpkin at the Autumn Heights Fall Fair, Vi finds herself accused of murder by the ever-pesky Officer Peskee — and shadowed by a Grimm only she can see. Can Vi solve the mystery before she ends up behind bars — or worse, before someone else dies?

The concept was creative and the mystery kept me curious, though some parts felt a little uneven. It’s an imaginative, cozy read filled with small-town charm and a clever mix of mystery and fall fun.

This was a quick fun read - yes, quick, even for a cozy novella: under 2 hours.

Our hateful cop once again wants to blame our sleuth for the death, this time because she was standing closest to him when he died.

It was the reference to grimms that drew me in, and I'm looking forward to seeing where that goes. It is definitely slow burn - the romantic interest doesn't even arrive in town until the end of book 2.

Never edited!

This book has lots of errors. A good editor or proofreader could have caught these things. There were many things about the story that I liked. Would have been a better experience if the author hired someone to catch all the problems.
