Scott L. Miller is a retired, former licensed clinical social worker who earned his MSW at St. Louis University. He worked extensively with adults, children, families, and the elderly in state and private hospitals in St. Louis City and County, which allowed him to see and work with most every psychiatric diagnosis in the DSM as well as experience a taste of city life while doing home visits. Long fascinated by the power of the written word and an avid reader, he utilized his acquired psychiatric and medical knowledge to write the Mitchell Adams series, as well as numerous stories and works in progress. He lives in Chesterfield, MO with his pocket beagle Juliet, the greatest dog ever.
