About the author

Graham William Nash, OBE is a British singer-songwriter known for his light tenor voice and for his songwriting contributions with the British pop group The Hollies, and with the folk-rock super group Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. A dual citizen of the United Kingdom and United States, Nash became an American citizen on 14 August 1978.

Nash is a photography collector and a published photographer. He was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Crosby, Stills & Nash in 1997 and as a member of The Hollies in 2010.

Nash was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2010 Birthday Honours List for services to music and to charity.

Nash holds four honorary doctorates, including one in Music from the University of Salford in 2011, and his latest Doctorate in Fine Arts from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

A charming, sweetly illustrated children’s book featuring the lyrics of Graham Nash’s song, OUR HOUSE. Perfect for those, like me, who would love to have a keepsake about the song they love so well, and who wish to share it the children in their life. Enchanting!

I received a hardcover advanced copy of this book to review. The opinions are my own.
I grew up with Graham and Joni's music so was (am) very excited for this opportunity
The only reason I did not give it a full 5 stars is because it is too precious and beautiful.
For those reasons I would not want to leave it out for small hands to "grubby up" or tear the pages. This is a book I will treasure and enjoy personally.
I know - the purpose of books is to appreciate them and share with friends and family.
This time I am being selfish, but I did promise my son it is part of his inheritance.

The illustrations are gorgeous, done by Hugh Syme. I know Graham himself is a talented artist.
I appreciated the behind the scenes story of when and how the song was written.
Although I treasure my hardcover books, I would also see this as a wonderful digital book, to listen to and read along.

Graham Nash and Hugh Syne have taken Nash’s 1971 hit with CSNY and made it into a beautiful children’s book. Most of us are familiar with the melody and lyrics so you would probably find yourself singing along to the words; I know I certainly did.

The pictures are lovely with a lot of detail so that you can find yourself lost in them. I imagine they would be very stimulating for a young imagination. That is if you actually let a child have this book rather than keeping it for yourself. And, that’s probably why I haven’t rated it higher. Our House is a very, very pretty little book with the wonderful lyrics and, while I could see you having a sing-a-long with a child, it feels more like a present for the adult rather than the intended audience.

A sweet book set to the iconic song Our House. The book fully accomplishes what it set out to do. The tone is quickly absorbed a place of contentment , peace and love. Graham tells the story behind the song. The illustrations/ pictures do the story justice as well. I received this ARC and these opinions are my own.

Graham Nash has given us wonderful music with his time in Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. It is from this musical group that the iconic song Our House was derived. This lavishly illustrated and beautifully rendered book explores the lyrics visually. What a wonderful job Nash and his illustrator have done here!

I loved this song when it first came out, and I still love it today. This book? Nope. Sorry. Doesn't work as a book, in my opinion. I mean, seriously, who is the audience for this?? Sorry Graham Nash. Looks like a money grab to me.

"Our House" is one of my favorite songs by Crosby, Stills, and Nash. This is a lovely book of this song, beautifully accompanied by Hugh Syme's illustrations. It would make a wonderful gift for a new homeowner or a new family.
