Very interesting for its depiction of the setting and time, Tucson and its drug scene in the mid 70s, particularly focusing on the university area and the old Hotel Geronimo. Beyond that it’s a good depiction of the life and mindset of a junkie.

Junk memoir set in and around Tucson's Geronimo Hotel (now home to Sinbad's, Starbucks and an Irish pub on University Blvd) by the University campus. Recommended only if you are interested in one individual's memories of the University and Euclid area of Tucson in the 70's. Second read for me; wanted to revisit now that I live in Tucson.
