This might be a quick read but there is a lot packed into these pages!
Normally I don't like when there is a time separation between the pair but it works and is understandable in this instance.
Luckily I have not experienced this type of harassment at work but I am sure it happens all too often. It made me like Kelsey even more, although I think she should have tried to handle it another way in real life but that would have made this story much different!
I enjoyed the interactions between this pair and liked them as a pair immediately.
I used to think novellas and short stories weren't for me but now some regular novels seem too wordy and drawn out. I guess it all comes down to how talented the writer is and if the reader can connect with the book or not. Sorry, I'm getting away from the book.

4.5* - Rounded up to 5...
The story was enjoyable and spicy. For a Novella, which I believe is a difficult type of story to write due to the length, it is difficult to keep the story interesting, while sharing enough about the characters to really get you to buy into them and their story, and often either feels rushed, or feels like there are gaps/large jumps in the story.
This story for Noah and Kelsey was done in a way where the Prologue really gets you into the characters and their connection and pulls you into it, and then the time jump allows you to catch up with them again, and learn things that explain the prologue while building further upon their connection and relationship is a great way, while maintaining the spice and speed.
In short, a fabulous spicy read that just hits right...

OMG the sexual tension between them was intense. It was a steamy hockey drama of an page turner and the suspense was spicy hot. Give me more action packed drama. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn't even put it down. It caught my attention as I look at this book cover and I knew it was going to be steamy foreplay of romance. Mia was a nerdy girl and Noah was an hunky hockey player. As soon as they meet they knew it was chemistry. Could this fake relationship turnout to be the real thing look at the expressing on their faces that it is true. It was mind blowing and sensational of passion and romance. The temptation was so hard for them to fight the feelings again after all those years ago of meeting before in the wilderness as she was working for her brother that day.

They get down and dirty in his cabin in the woods and she thinks she’s been played on waking up and seeing wedding pics… fast forward years later and her brother gets her a job on his team…. The dreamboat himself is in the lineup and doesn’t even remember her! About right… but when a handsy coworker doesn’t leave her alone ,she spills that she’s Noah’s and to back off. Noah plays ball on account as he wants her to pretend for his family too….. It’s a dirty shot but pucking good reading ! Phew . Awesome steamy fun read. But what else do we expect when we pick up a Livvy Stone trophy?.

Dirty Shot was a great read by Livvy Stone. As a big hockey fan I am always looking for new books featuring those handsome athletes on skates. There's just something about them. And I really enjoyed Noah and Kelsey's story. One night 5 years ago Noah rescued Kelsey after an accident and after an amazing night together, Kelsey snuck out after seeing his wedding photos. Fate brought them back together when her brother Jack hires her as the web developer for the StarPucks Hockey team. The first player she meets is none other than Noah Harrington, her one night stand from 5 yers ago. Despite not recognizing her, Noah is instantly drawn to her. Will they get their second chance when she agrees to be his pretend girlfriend?

DIRTY SHOT BY MY BROTHER'S BEST FRIEND is a quick read at just over one hundred pages. It's a sports romance with hockey front and center. The characters are likable except for the one in charge of legal but this is Kelsey and Noah's story.
It's a second chance romance even if it takes him a while to figure out how they met. It's also a fake relationship that could bite them in the end. There's some steam but also caring and chemistry. There is workplace harassment that set my teeth on edge. A good flow to the story and a happily ever after that was nicely portrayed.

This is by far my favorite of this series. Noah is such a genuine, kind, loving, and sweet hockey player. I love Noah and Kelsey together. I am so happy to see that their misunderstandings were ironed out and cleared up. My heart broke when Noah told Kelsey about losing his twin and sister in law so young. Damien got what he deserved and I am so glad that Kelsey stood up to him and did not let him blackmail or intimidate her. Kelsey and Noah's story is one of my favorites in the hockey sports romance genre! Loved every detail of their story!.

I love this entire series. Each story is slightly different with the common thread of hockey. Five years ago Kelsey was in a car accident that forced her off the road. Rescued by a stranger that gave her a night she would never forget. Until a misunderstanding sent her running next morning. For Noah she was always the nameless one that got away.

This was an awesome quick read featuring Noah and Kelsey.
I loved how the story unfolds. How they met was unique and with Noah being protective and caring right off the bat. Their chemistry was scorching almost from their first look at each other. I loved how Kelsey dealt with issues (girl boss vibes).
This may of been a quick read but the story was well developed and I didn’t feel like I missed anything. I loved this book and hope you do too.

Great second chance spicy romance. Noah rescues Kelsey after and auto accident. Their instant chemistry leads to a passionate night. However a morning after misunderstanding has Kelsey slipping away, crushed. Fast forward to the meet-again. Nerdy girl vs hot hockey star face off. Good short story, but with all that was going on I think fleshed out it would be a great book!

Lots of loopholes
I feel like there are a fair amount of loopholes in the book. I get that she had to think it was him in the pictures but to have no pictures up of the twins together just seems preposterous to me. Also the fact she is supposedly super into hockey but doesn't know the star player on the team her brother is a coach of? Add in the fact that Noah (and even Kelsey) only seems to think in terms of sports was over the top.

It is a romantic second chance story in that it takes awhile for the misunderstanding between Kelsey and Noah to be fixed. However the chemistry and love from before stayed strong. I liked how they dealt with sleezy Damien.

I enjoyed this quick, easy to read love story. Kelsey is rescued by a stranger after an accident, they have an intense night together but after seeing a wedding photo she flees. Fast forward 5 yrs when Kelsey gets a job with her brothers hockey team, lo and behold she sees Noah her ons but he doesn’t recognise her. There’s attraction for sure and due to different reasons they help each other out by faking a relationship. A good story with likeable characters a misunderstanding, a bit of drama and heat.

This engaging story had me gripping my e reader from the first paragraph in the prologue.
I started this book and finished in 3 hours ,I couldn't put it down.

Noah and Kelsey had a night of passion after he rescued her from her car crush. The next morning she saw wedding photo's of him and left. Years later she takes a job with her brother's hokey team where she saw Noah again. They start a fake relationship but nothing was fake. There was steam and great chemistry between them. This is an amazing quick story. A must read.

Wonderful read. I thoroughly enjoyed reading Noah and Kelsey's story. It's well written. The characters are funny and endearing. Even Sam Noah's dog is a nice touch to the story. This is a quick read that I believe everyone will enjoy. Livvy is a wonderful author. Every book of hers I have read are full of surprises and keep you turning the pages. Happy reading everyone

The cover on this book is really beautiful and the blurb of the book sounded interesting. But the writing of the book is a whole Nother matter. It’s dated and stilted and I just couldn’t finish it. And I tried I did go back and try again, but ultimately, I’m putting this in the DNF pile. Really disappointed.

This is a book that will melt not only the ice but your panties as well. The sex scenes are SMOKING HOT, and I LOVED Kelsey and Noah in this book. From the very beginning when she was in her car accident to when Noah rescued her. I was in awe of this book and as it kept going, I found myself intrigued with everything and how the two of them had not only a history but HOT chemistry. Livvy knows how to write a romance book that you will fall in LOVE with so don't waste any more time start reading this book today.
