Five Brothers, one badie FMC and a nightmare boyfriend.
What just happened?! This book has it all; danger, action, tattooed dangerous brothers, a badass FMC and a grocery list of trigger warnings (please read them)... oh, and a cliffhanger ending. Presley is a girl just trying to make it to graduation so she can leave her shitty life. Her mom is an addict, and her stepfather loves her a little too much. Her boyfriend is a rich SOB who has decided she'll be a trophy wife and accessible to his family and friends for anything they need. There's just one issue; her bestfriend and his brothers. Maverick, Harley, Braxten, Axel and Caspian. Maverick and Presley have been friends for years, but he doesn't know her dark truth; neither does Harley who Presley works for. When their mother dies and the other brothers move to town, things change and Axel starts to see what is really happening; who she is behind the mask. But he can't save her on his own, nor does he want to break her trust and tell her secrets.

This book was one of my more anticipated reads and it was everything I could have wanted. It was dark, twisted, spicy and oh so perfect. I loved each and every MMC as they all cared for Presley in different ways. Axel holds my entire heart at the moment tho and it’s gonna take me awhile to get over this book. That cliffhanger destroyed me and I can’t wait for book 2. This story is definitely a must read!

However, even living behind a mask of lies, one of the guys, Axel sees past it, knowing what she’s going through, as they all have their own secrets too. Will it all come to light? Will she find her own retreat? Will her life ever be her own again? I shall not give you anymore, you’re just going to have to read it yourselves 🤭

I may or may not be still processing this one, you are drawn into her story, which leaves you stuck in her emotions with her, you’re on the edge of your seat at times. Praying there is hope for her, beyond what she believes is her only way out and that hits you with all the feels. There are scoff worthy moments, intermingled with the spicy times and Ashlynn’s dexterity in getting that across to her readers is what keeps you turning the pages 🫨 Can’t wait for the next instalment.

The FMC is strong, feisty, and feral. Despite her trauma... her humanity remains intact... I absolutely love Presley.

There are 6 MMCs...
1 complete asshole... and his demise cannot come soon enough...

And 5 brothers... from sweet to not... and overall, all of the brothers are great... but my absolute favorite is Axel. His empathy, compassion, and understanding are top tier. And I cannot wait to know more about his background...

Ashlynn Author just has a way to make me feel all of the feels... and I love her for it.

This is not a happy story... it's filled with pain and suffering... yet resilience and humor...

The third paragraph of the first chapter... is brutal... and that pace continues... ending the final chapter with a bang, bang, bang...

This book is absolutely devastating. It tore me apart and left me speechless, heart in pieces, crying in a corner.
I felt every single moment with Presley—every blow, every heartbreak.
Writing this without spoilers feels impossible, but the Cyprus boys completely won me over, all of them.

I’m beyond ready for the next book, and thankfully I don’t have to wait long to dive in. I can’t even fully put into words what this story did to me. Like always, Ashlynn delivers something raw and powerful. It broke me, left me with a knot in my gut, and made me cry more than once. Absolutely incredible.

This book has me shook to my core! And the way you ended it was gut wrenching 😩 but I loved it so so much as it hit so very close to home for me!

This book follows along the journey of Presley the FMC with her unwanted double life that she was forced to live, that is until a certain 5 super stunning Brothers came along 😉. She has been stuck in a horrible home with an @busive step dad, in a relationship with a founding family spoiled pig of a guy who makes her do whatever he wants with whomever he wants, and I mean that in every sense.
And then there are the Cyprus boys 🤤🫠 you have Harley the eldest who she works for, Caspian A.K.A Demon the absolute bad boy, Maverick her best friend and also her first 😉, Braxton the quiet and observant one who is always watching, but is also in fight club, and last but not least Axel the beautiful Selective mute out of the family, pain calls to pain but they save each other in the best of ways.

This book is so beautifully written even with its darker themes as it touches some very traumatic subjects so definitely check your trigger warnings if you need too, Ashlynn you have outdone yourself! I cannot wait to read Dangerous Beauty, the cliffhanger was NOT fair 😩

As Ashlynn writes in her foreword, “this book hits into the bones and breaks you”. That sentiment couldn’t be more accurate. This story shattered me, pulling me deep into the raw emotions and struggles of Presley and Axel. My heart ached as I watched Presley navigate her pain, silently screaming for someone to notice the mask she wore so flawlessly. No one did until Axel. Darkness calls to darkness, and Axel’s ability to truly see Presley, to recognise the cracks behind her polished exterior, was both heartbreaking and beautiful.

This book is a testament to resilience and strength, even in the darkest moments. Presley finds herself at rock bottom, convinced she can’t endure any longer, but Axel becomes her lifeline. He doesn’t just see her; he understands her in a way no one else does. Their connection is raw and powerful, a bright light amidst the shadows of her despair.

The five brothers add a dynamic layer to the story, each of them drawn to Presley in their own unique way. Having grown up with Mav and Harley, their bond feels familiar, but meeting Casp, Axel, and Bex ignites something entirely new. Each of their pet names for her had me swooning, and the chemistry between them all is undeniable. Presley’s interactions with the brothers bring her back to life in ways that are both emotional and tantalising.

The writing is flawless, blending darkness and sensitivity with twists, intricate plotting, and intensely spicy scenes that enhance the story rather than overshadowing it. First things first.. The amount of TWs, especially SA is quite alot so if this is one of yours, this may not be a book for you, or, at the very least check her warnings list!
The author is exceptional in giving warnings at the beginning of the book AND also at the beginning of any chapters that have scenes involved. I applaud her for keeping those in mind.

As did the story.....I cant help but enjoy it... To love the 5 individual, brothers, the amazingly strong, bad ass female Character of Presley, and to feel as if I'm in the story... Feeling her pain, her moments of true happiness, the mask she wears....

My favourite brother... I'm sorry it has has to be the quiet but strong Fallen Angel, Axel. The boy who stopped speaking thru trauma and needed a reason to find his voice again.
But also.... The Demon, or Ghost as he's later known, also calls to me and I'm not sure why yet! He has a dark side we see but once again Presley calls another side to him....

The story built from the first page... And not only that but each character too.... Urging you to keep reading....

Until you get to the last page.... And one hell of a cliffhanger!!!

I'm left intrigued at how this is going to go. It has so many open questions that even Presley isn't aware of yet....

I hope we don't have to wait too long!!!!

This book was absolutely amazing! I would highly suggest not reading if you’re easily triggered or have lots of triggers. And even then check the trigger warnings. This was a super intense book that shows our MFC going through SA and DV. I loved that she had all 5 brothers there to protect her and save her in the end. She definitely had a dark side to herself as well but surrounded herself with people that loved and cared about her. The cliffhanger had me wanting the second book immediately.

CTW**This is a very traumatic story. Wicked dangerous, all time low esteem. The FMC in this book goes through a lot to find a little peace. She sees tragedy, deceit, in everyone. When she thinks she is save, she isn't. She falls for five brothers who all love her in their way but only one truly saw her. The cliffhanger had me reeling. I am so ready for Book two to see what happens.

The book is very well written, I couldn't put it down, but I had to. Because the story is awful, disgusting, terrible. I needed to stop a couple of times to clear my head. Once again this book is really good, I loved it, but Presley's story is not.

The life Presley lives is terrible, disgusting, awful. No body should go through that. I hope she gets to slaughter each and everyone who hurt her.

DNF. It’s not about the darkness. This book has that in spades and also explicitly written out -I don’t mind that, I can actually admire someone giving the non-nuanced words. What bothered me was the immaturity of the characters. It felt like the FMC’s reactions to some stuff was waaaay over the top, compared to other ways she’d respond to worse stuff (like getting over the top mad at Mav for the ‘sharing with brother’ stuff, while the murder of the girl got only a ‘fled the scene’. Like, wth? You KILLED someone). Maybe it was her way of ‘acting out’ of ‘taking control’ where she felt no control of a lot of things, but on page it just looked like she couldn’t handle stuff. Which I could understand. She might think she feels ‘safe’ with the brothers, but in actuality the brothers are just abusive pricks like her stepfather and prick of a boyfriend. That’s what made this book too much cringe for me. The way they’d tell her to shut up and let them take care of her. Yeaa, because sex is what she needs … i’m all for overcoming your trauma and taking control of your sexuality after SA, but this just felt like she stepped from a really bad situation, in a little better one. There’s no balance and I think when you write a book this dark, balance is needed. Technically, it was like reading a story written by someone who had not much experience writing a cohesive story. It was BAM BAM BAM BAM and taking a breather is important. I think this book has the potential to be great; has, because who knows, maybe one day the author decides to rewrite.

Actually 2.5 stars if I could. The storyline and plot was really compelling and I genuinely liked Presley and the Cyprus brothers. But lack of editing and countless typos continue to plague Ashlynn’s books making them hard to really enjoy. Also, whatever happened to the redheaded escort? We never got resolution on that. Just as an FYI to future readers, this is about as pitch black as it gets (which I personally enjoy) so be sure to check the triggers if you have hard limits.

WHAT THE HELL!!!!!! I couldn't turn the pages fast enough.I devoured this book in less than a day.
There are a whole ton of triggers so please take care of your mental health and check them. Nothing prepared me for the ride I was about to go on.

Presley- bad ass FMC who has been just trying to stay alive, make money and leave this godforsaken place after senior year. Growing up in an abusive home, with drugs and a horrible stepfather, she learns how to leave her mind to be able to get through the situations she is put in.

Where do you even start with these guys. Maverick has been her best friend for years and was her first everything. Harley owns the repair shop that Presley works in and helps her out anytime she needs anything. Caspian aka Demon... is her drug dealer. Braxton is one of the twins and Axel is mute by choice after his traumatic past of being used and abused so his mother could pay her debts.

They all have some form of interest in Presley, and care about her in different ways, possessive, calm, rough, understanding. She has something in common with each of them, others more than most. Maverick tries to claim her only to realize he will be sharing with his brothers, but no one else.

There are things she is hiding to protect them, she is too stubborn and strong willed to let people she cares about get hurt. She is involved in a ring of men who do ungodly things to women, because they think that is all they are good for. Presley didn't choose this life, it chose her. She is paying back debts that aren't hers to bear. Can she keep it all together or will she finally snap.

I was honestly not expecting this book to be THAT good!!! Definitely the best book I’ve read so far this year and even in my top 5 out of all the books I read last year. Poor Presley!!! She was so young to have been going through all that traumatic stuff and being controlled and having everything she is ripped from her. I LOVED all the boys!!! Caspian pissed me off sometimes but he’s just an insane psycho that you can’t help but love. Mav is the best friend heart throb that I loved right away. Braxton was the kind of adorable that is just so sexy and fun. Harley needed to get his head right sooner but he’s another heartthrob. And last and most important, Axel baby was my number one favorite. Such a gentle soul with such a big heart and the mind of a sexy & smart warrior. His soul had been tainted just like hers and he saw right through her mask from the beginning. His trauma brought on a secret dark side to him which craved violence and depravity but the little boy that was hurt and broken was still in there and would come out when he was triggered. Such a heart of gold though, that boy had my heart the instant he was introduced. I HATE Jacob Lee!!! Hate hate hate him!!! Sicko deserves to die. That cliffhanger left me in tears yelling at my kindle when I realized I wasn’t going to find out what happens next until the spring of this year!!! Ahhh noo I need the next book now!!!! I really hope they all come out of that last showdown alive. It’s not looking good though and if my baby Axel dies I’m gonna be so mad at you Ashlynn!!! I read this book in one night, one sitting, I just couldn’t put it down it was that good!!! 100/100 recommend!!!!! Check the trigger warnings though!!! Heavy trauma, abuse, SA, and grape involved in Presley’s story. Quite a bit of violence and blood too. Very dark themes but wonderful character development and such a thrilling plot that will have you biting your nails on the edge of your seat not knowing what will happen next!! The first book of the Cyprus Brothers of Daggerspoint series by Ashlynn is dark, deprived and deliciously unhinged! I loved every moment from beginning to end.

A brilliantly crafted why choose that will have you on the edge of your seats.

Our FMC, Presley, has had a difficult and complex history. She is a tough cookie and deals with it all with a kickass attitude through her trauma. She is a complex and strong character.

The delicate and well balanced narrative builds to a relentless pace with our 5 brothers. I loved these boys! All have their own unique personalities and levels of depth and emotional energy as well as character development! Outstanding dynamics between our MCs that will have you feeling all the emotions!

Overall a fantastic and immersive storyline with great pacing and wonderful world building… although we are left right on the edge of a very tall cliff!

We have it all. An emotional rollercoaster ride and an absolute masterpiece of dark romance by the amazing author Ashlynn!

Dangerous Allure by Ashlynn Author was everything I hoped for and more! This book takes you on a wild, emotional ride with danger, intensity, and spice on every page.

Presley is a fierce and resilient FMC, navigating a life full of pain and trauma while trying to hold onto her humanity. The Cyprus Brothers—Maverick, Harley, Braxten, Axel, and Caspian—each bring something unique to the story, but Axel completely stole my heart. His compassion and understanding make him an unforgettable character, and I can’t wait to learn more about him in the next book.

I was utterly addicted to this book; it just hit me with a raw, crazy feeling I could not resist. The first line, her throat-hand metaphor, made me realize that it was not your average slick, dark fantasy, but a violent plunge into a mind that was almost breaking. The text is rough, nearly bone-shattering, and the chilling word is "Depravity." Used. Unloved.” establishes this unforgiving, oppressive tone.

The most irritating thing about it was the main character's two lives: she is so confident and assertive on the outside, but inside, she is a girl trapped in lies, trauma, and stubbornness. The novel will not make the ugliness of secrets, blackmail, and abuse that distort a person's identity sweet, making you wonder whether living is even surviving. The five Cyprus brothers of Daggerspoint are a razor-sharp lifeline, making the concept of freedom a bloody, dangerous bargain in metaphorical red. Each decision is a time bomb, and it is making the pressure even more tense.

I also liked that the book allowed darkness to exist without turning the heroine into a pitied figure. It challenges the readers to the point of survival and self-destruction, and how far you would go, even to the point of making a devil's deal to get out of your hell. Twisted, intense, and emotionally brutal in all the right ways—this one’s going to haunt me for a long time, and honestly? I want it to.

I absolutely loved this one. The spice and plot were both amazing and there was a little bit of character development as well. This one kept me HOOKED. I hate that the second book isn’t out yet. But when it does come out I’ll for sure read it. Spice was a definite 5/5🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ and plot was a hands down 5/5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ as well.
