I saw one Facebook ad (yes Facebook don't ask how I ended up on that cesspool 😅), and I instantly went and downloaded this one. I ended up reading it in basically one sitting too.

Was it revolutionary...absolutely not lol. But it was a good enough time, and entertaining enough for a Saturday evening.

🩺 Second Chance
💃🏼 Unplanned Pregnancy
🩺 Secrets and Miscommunication
💃🏼 HE DELIVERS HIS OWN BABY 🤯

The storyline with her going on a blind date and meeting with the wrong guy, (who she realizes was her first kiss in high school) is dramatic enough. But add in a one night stand where both of these idiots can not figure out how to reach each other after the fact led to quite the cat and mouse game. OH and the girl ends up pregnant, BECAUSE OF COURSE with no way to reach this man🤣

But WAIT he's a gynecologist and after 9 months of not being able to talk to him, he just so happens to be the doctor on call when she goes into labor and he ends up DELIVERING HIS OWN BABY WITHOUT KNOWING IT. Flabbergasting, and read like a damn soap opera and I ate it up! (I don't think any of that is a spoiler because I'm pretty sure that's in the synopsis but that all happens within the first half).

But yeah it was goofy, and miscommunication everywhere but it was dramatic and fun so I'm not gonna think about it past that.

However I can't get the past the title of this because “Billionaire Doc" is a stretch. This guy has money, but he is not a billionaire. And honestly I was so confused as to where all his money came from 😅...like he said he had some good investments but the man is gynecologist, not a damn brain surgeon for the mafia! 🤣 But again I won't think too much about it.

But like Jolie Day think about changing the title maybe? And the cover while your at it...🤣. Not a bad read, but oof the marketing could use some work my dear lol

Overall I'd give it 3 or 3.5⭐'s

Got kind of annoyed with this one. Lots of tropes: Blind date mix up, second chance, one night stand, surprise pregnancy, miscommunication.

I've discovered I'm not here for the detailed fantasized sex scenes when the main characters are apart. "I'm falling in love with every movement he makes." What? What does that even mean? He's not actually there. This is a fantasy she's having ... It was like she wrote these scenes and then stuffed them into the book at random places.

This book had so much potential, but really missed the mark. They meet in a blind date mix-up. But then they realized that they actually pretty much dated in high school. How did you not recognize each other is beyond me. They leave the bar after realizing they know each other, and immediately she asks why he doesn't have kids -- this was so strange. He's not married and the same age as her, why would he have kids? But it just sets up the conflict that he doesn't want kids. This was not much of a conflict.

He needs to go into work after their night together -- which hello, he was drinking and hasn't slept but sure let's allow him to deliver premature babies. He didn't wake Lizzie when he had to leave -- why not? She couldn't read his handwriting on the note he left. Didn't want to wait until noon for him to return. Then instead of trying to google, "Dr. Dillan Maxwell, New York City," she just says all well, I tried and throws up her hands.

She makes very minimal effort to get in touch with him after she finds out she's pregnant. He delivers the baby, and he doesn't put two-and-two together. This part was SO STUPID. Like it didn't even occur to him that he could be the father. During delivery, they ask if she wants an epidural. "I decided long ago I’d forgo any pain meds, not wanting to be high as a kite when I see my child for the first time." Judgmental much? Epidurals don't make you high.

Anyway, she finally tells him he's the father and boom he's happy and suddenly wants kids even though he spent 20 minutes telling her why didn't want kids the night they hooked up.

They both come from middle class families, but he's supposedly a billionaire. She works as a waitress / burlesque dancer and supposedly makes enough money for rent and to start her own business in NYC. She doesn't have any formal dance training, yet she thinks she can open her own dance studio in NYC. So bizarre. And what was up with Gavin? The assault, calling Dillan to give him $100k? Setting up for the next book, author needed to make a word count quota? This part of the story was so out in left field.

The miscommunication trope is the absolute worst trope ever in existence. "Yeah, I know I should tell him. I'll do it later." And then you just lie and lie and lie. Worst trope ever. "I'll tell him I dance almost naked for money! Scout's honor!"

I'm really disappointed with this one.

Madly Happy
I love a second chance, and this book takes that to levels I don’t think I’ve seen before. School sweethearts tragically torn apart when Dillan’s parents moved him away, brought back together years later in the perfect rom-com meet-cute. Separated again in a comedy of errors, yet the hand of Fate was determined to see Lizzie reunited with her crush once and for all. This story was all kinds of fun. It’s sweet and spicy and even a little silly at times. These two were perfect for each other. Just ask Fate; she kept shoving them back together every time they messed up. I really hate that their story is over already.
I received a complimentary advance copy of this book from the author.

I couldn’t remember if I started this series, or if it was something in Jolie’s subscription email that was completely different than what I read. Either way, I must have started something of hers and this triggered something but I was interested in finding out. If you like some cheesiness, crazy circumstances or just a fan of fate in general then this might be something you would be interested in. It’s kind of like a second chance romance except when Lizzie first sees Dillon for the first time, he takes a few minutes to remember and recognize her. From there you can take a guess at what happens. Honestly though, I was going back and forth between a 3 and a 4. The book was entertaining enough and kept me interested but there was too many coincidental situations and more cheese than I would have wanted. I can’t remember if this is Jolie’s style or if this was just the vibes I got from this book. I think it was too happy go lucky for me and not enough drama or intensity. Then again, it has been a while since I’ve just read a feel good, laid back story. It definitely had good vibes but I would have liked this to be toned down just a notch. Maybe I just have different standards now or my taste is yearning for more than just an “everything is all good” mentality. Or, maybe it’s the trope? I have been steering away from second chance romances so maybe this theme set my mood differently. I wasn’t expecting this to be second chance and when I realized this was what it was, I was already pretty far into the book and invested. Another thing that I found myself thinking about was that this book went on longer than it should. There was more than one chapter that felt like the story was ending but then it would just continue and drag out the ending. I think Jolie just wanted closure for Lizzie on her career and journey and to finish on a high note about it with Dillon, but couldn’t choose the right time to clue him in on it. He knows that she is a dancer but the kind of dancing she was doing was purposely kept from him and I think this could have been revealed to Dillon way sooner than it was. Jolie unnecessarily dragged this out and I didn’t see the reason or need to do this, so that kind of bothered me. Overall, there wasn’t much to this book enough to blow me away but if you want a feel good, happy story with a simple plot then this is for you. Another thing, I didn’t care too much about was how there was one too many intimate scenes and it started to feel repetitive to me that I lost feels and swoons from it. The first few are great! Then it gets to be too much of the same and it almost lost its meaning to me. You can take this review with a grain of salt but hopefully you have a different take on it than I did.

- Second chance
- Unplanned pregnancy
- Secrets and miscommunication

I felt so bad for Dillon and Lizzie. All sorts of circumstances made their journey a difficult one.

Lizzie has let her neighbor Mrs L talk her into a blind date with her friend's son, who is a doctor. Lizzie is not looking for love as she is working hard to save up money to open a dance studio. She is an exotic dancer and waitress at a women owned club, but takes the evening off to meet up with this doctor. She sees a handsome man with a red pocket square - the description she was given. To her surprise, it's not her date, but to her delight, it is her high school flame, Dillon.

Dillon has just moved back to town to open his own medical practice. He is also delighted to find out the stunning woman who sat next to him is Lizzie. They spend the evening catching up, then decide to give into the attraction they have both always felt. But as doctors do, Dillon gets called in for an emergency. He leaves Lizzie a illegible note with his number. Lizzie tries all of the variations of the number she can think of, but can't get through to Dillon. Figuring he is deliberately ghosting her, she gets on with her life.

Soon, Lizzie finds out she is pregnant and still cannot locate Dillon. She decides to become a single parent, with the help of her best friend and roommate, Pippa. When Lizzie goes into labor early and her normal doctor is unavailable, she is stunned to see Dillon walk into the hospital room! Surely she can't tell him he's the father during delivery!

Dillon has mixed feelings seeing Lizzie in the hospital. He figures she moved on from him...(I mean, did he not try to figure out dates?) He still has feelings for Lizzie, but is there any room in her life for him?

Hang on to your hats, People! You are about to embark on the delightful misadventures of Dillan and Lizzie! Jolie Day has done it again in creating a happy-go-lucky story of two star-crossed lovers who are destined to be together. You will love it!

Lizzie, a burlesque dancer in an all-women’s club, has been finagled into a blind date by her elderly neighbor. When she arrives at the bar to meet her date, she sits down beside a strikingly handsome man with a red silk square in his suit pocket, which was her signal for her date. When her real date shows up, Lizzie and the hot stranger kiss to warn him off and that is just the start of their romantic evening. They realize they were high school friends who had lost touch and end up renewing their attraction with great satisfaction. But Dillan is paged in the middle of the night and must leave to deliver a baby. He does leave Lizzie a note telling her he will be back and includes her a phone number which she cannot decipher.

She balls up the note in frustration and throws it out before check-out time and leaves just as Dillan arrives back in the hotel.

Imagine her surprise when Lizzie realizes she is pregnant, and she has no way of contacting Dillan. All she knows is that he is a doctor, but she does not know what kind of medicine he practices! Why didn’t she keep that note?

Most of the book has the two of them just missing each other but love has a way of conquering all when Dillan is the doctor who comes into the room to deliver Lizzie’s baby. Surprise!

Dillan and Lizzie get their happily ever after in this heart-warming, second chance romance. It is an enjoyable, charming read which will put a smile on your face. Buy it! You will not be sorry!

5 stars 😫 Ma'am you did it again. This was so angsty! I absolutely loved it Jolie 😎

Dillan and Lizzie 😫 My God these two! They were fire 😫 and perfect for each other.

The book starts off with Lizzie going out to a bar on a blind date that her elderly neighbour set up. When she gets there, she goes up to the wrong man, but when she realises, they start talking. Not long after, they recognize each other 🤭 He was her first kiss in high school. They decide to pick up off where they left, but lose contact. And now she's pregnant with no way of finding him. Turns out fate finds a way somehow or the other, when he's the doctor delivering their secret baby 😈

Dr Dillan Maxwell 😈 Oh my baby! He's hawt and gorgeous. My type 😌 He's charming, a billionaire, protective, possesive, a total golden retriever, filthy mouthed and an absolute freak for his woman 😌 I loved his character so much. I love how protective he was over Lizzie from the start, and how he became even more so after finding her again. He raised my standards for sure 😌

Lizzie - Elizabeth Moore is an absolute gem. She's beautiful, intelligent, hardworking, independent and absolutely incredible. She's the definition of a power woman 😌 Seeing her make the decisions she did during this book, was absolutely brave and incredible. I was so proud of her for giving her and Dillan the chance they both deserved so much 😫❤ They both deserved their Happily Ever After forever ❤ I love that they solved everything like adults and didn't blow things out of proportion. Fate was cruel to them but they didn't let that tear them apart again ❤

Jolie always knocks it out the park with her beautiful and brilliant stories 😌 I can't wait to see what else she has in store for us ❤

You need to read them asap. It's almost release day 🤭

Blind Date with the Billionaire Doc is a fun, second-chance read. Lizzie reluctantly agrees to a blind date with a doctor that is set up by her elderly neighbor. Instead of meeting her date at the restaurant, she runs into Dillon, an old boyfriend from high school, and the sparks are still flying. They spend a single night together and in the morning, Lizzie wakes up to an empty hotel room and a note from Dillon that she cannot read due to his poor handwriting. She figures she’s been ghosted and doesn’t think she’ll see him again.
Time passes and she discovers she is pregnant and has no way of contacting Dillon. She is determined to raise this baby on her own – with the help of her best friend/roommate as well as her sweet, elderly neighbor. Meanwhile she is still chasing her dreams of owning her own dance studio and doing all she can to make this dream a reality. Ironically, she runs into Dillon again at the hospital and he ends up delivering her (his) baby. Though they hadn’t seen each other since their one-night-stand, they are still drawn to each other and Lizzie realizes she needs to tell Dillon the truth. He takes the news of instant fatherhood remarkably well and adapts to it quite quickly. They work together well co-parenting, while still finding each other very attractive. Eventually, Lizzie agrees to move in with Dillon, while still pursuing her dreams of owning a dance studio. There are some bumps in the road as they navigate their new relationship, their pasts and how they see their future. They eventually get there and the fun of the story is that journey.

Dillan is an ambitious driven doctor who moves back to New York to start his own practice. He sits at a bar one night and meets his Lizzie who mistakenly thought he was her blind date. Who would have guessed it, Dillan was her high school crush she lost touch with and not her blind date. Dillan couldn't believe the odds that he would meet up with Lizzie after all these years. She stands up her date and reminisces with Dillan about the past, one thing led to another and they end up spending the night together. Unfortunately, the hospital calls with an emergency and he ends up leaving Lizzie but leaves a note with his phone number. Lizzie gets the note but cannot read his handwriting and after numerous tries, thinks Dillan left the wrong number and ghosted her. She leaves broken hearted.

Dillan thinks she ghosted him since he never heard from her after their night. Months later, who is in the delivery room when he is covering one of the obstetricians, but Lizzie and she is having a baby. Now he knows why she never called him back.

Lizzie can't believe she is in labor and who is the covering doctor called in to deliver her baby but Dillan, Baby Daddy! She tried for months to find him but couldn't and look who fate brings to her. She finally tells him he's a daddy, knowing he doesn't want kids but she is in for a surprise.

I really like this story. Dillan and Lizzie now have to navigate co-parenting and Dillan's views on kids and family is questioned. This felt so real with all the feels. I loved it. Great story Ms. Day!

This book is absolutely delicious,I loved reading it so much.
Its a story that makes you feel good and warm inside.
It may sound like the story could be very angsty but in actual fact there is minimal angst because Jolie Day writes her characters with humour and heart.
This book had it all romance, steam, humour, wit, drama and emotion and is Classic Jolie Day.
This is a second chance romance between Lizzie and Dillion.
Mistaken identity has Lizzie choosing the wrong guy who was supposed to be her blind date.Instead she starts talking to hot Doc Dillion, only to discover that they knew eachother in high school. They get along famously and one passionate one night stand later Lizzie finds herself pregnant with no way to contact Dillion.
But these two are meant to be together according to the universe, because when Lizzie is ready to give birth, who is delivering her baby....None other than doctor Dillion !!
This is such a great story and it gripped me from the start...Dillion is so swoon worthy you have to give it to him he steps up at suddenly being a dad.
He is so protective of Lizzie and I loved him for her because Lizzie is so strong and a hard worker Dillion is perfect for her...They are perfect for eachother.
Blind Date with the Billionaire Doc is a fantastic entertaining read,I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and couldn't stop turning those pages.
Another wonderful book by Jolie Day.
Excellent.

Dillan and Lizzie's story was perfect for these characters with some angst mixed in. We first meet Lizzie, when she is meeting her blind date at a bar, he is supposed to have a red pocket square. Only, there are two guys in the bar that night meeting that characteristic and she ends up with the wrong man. After they have been talking for a while, she has a few memories tickling the back of her memory and she realizes who he is. Her first crush and kiss in high school.

These two feel like they can seamlessly pick up where they leave off only in the middle of the night, Dillan has to leave to delivery a baby, leaving her a note that she can't read. Turns out, fate had another thing in mind. Dillan Maxwell, cannot stop thinking about Lizzie, he has been trying to find her but hasn't had any luck. When fate steps in, Lizzie ends up in labor in his hospital and he just so happens to be the OB on call that night and delivers the baby.

I loved both of these characters they were perfect for each other. Once they talk everything out it seemed as though everything falls into place for them and it was sweet to watch. I loved how easily they fell into a rhythm together even though it had been years since they had seen each other. They deserved their HEA and they both achieved their dreams. I highly recommend this story.

Light, low angst steamy romance—Dillan and Lizzie have a second chance at their HEA. It takes a bit— after a chance meeting leads to a steamy night, Dillan is called to the hospital and leaves Lizzie a note. His doctor handwriting is so bad Lizzie can’t read his phone number to get in touch with him.

They don’t connect again for a while, during which time Lizzie discovers she’s pregnant. Instead of panicking, she gathers her village of supporting characters and decides to raise the baby.

As often happens in romance land, her doctor is unavailable when she goes into labor, and lo and behold, Dillan shows up. He’s an obstetrician, and he unknowingly delivers his own son.

This sounds like a plot for drama, but Jolie Day makes her characters takes things in stride, so the drama is pretty minimal. Dillan and Lizzie eventually get on the same page and work things out. If Dillan is a billionaire in this story, it’s not obvious. He’s a wealthy doctor whose side investments have paid off, but there’s no real billionaire lifestyle in this one. I liked both main characters even though things went awfully easily for them—Dillan has the lightest schedule of any obstetrician ever, and Lizzie manages cover rent for a dance studio space and a shared apartment in NYC with one job as a waitress in a club. If you don’t trip over the details, the book is a good short entertaining read.

Lizzie’s neighbor Mrs. Loughty has set her up on a blind date and Lizzie isn’t really enthused about it. When she gets to the restaurant, she sees a guy at the bar that matches the exact description of who she is looking for. When she approaches, she is floored by how handsome he is and wonders why he isn’t taken. They talk and he informs her she has the wrong guy and when she looks toward the door, she sees the other guy and is like oh no. Well, the guy at the bar kisses her and it’s like super sparks fly. That’s when they realize they know each other from high school. Dillion Maxwell was Lizzie’s first crush and kiss and she is floored that it’s actually him. They decide to go somewhere else to talk and well of course one thing leads to another and they spend a super steamy night together. When she wakes the next morning, she thinks he has ghosted her but he hasn’t he left a not but the number was not the right one. Now mixed communication leaves both Lizzie and Dillion trying to find one another. What will happen when 9 months later he is delivering his baby???
Jolie has a 5-star book with this one. Great story line with wonderful characters. It will have you hooked from start to finish. Well worth your time to read it. I received an arc copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving my review.

Audio Review:
Duet Narration by Megan Wicks and Sean Masters featuring Samantha Brentmoor

Tropes:
Blind date gone wrong
Mistaken identity
One-night stand
Secret baby
Second chance

What a sweet surprise! I went into Blind Date with the Billionaire Doc expecting a light, steamy rom-com, but it turned out to be such a heartfelt second-chance story.

After a mix-up on a blind date, Lizzie finds herself face-to-face with Dr. Dillan Maxwell—the boy who once gave her her first kiss and is now the hottest doctor in New York. Their chemistry is instant, their night together unforgettable… until he disappears. Months later, fate intervenes when Dillan shows up again—only this time, as Lizzie’s OBGYN.

I loved how Jolie Day took a classic miscommunication setup and made it feel earned instead of annoying. Lizzie and Dillan’s emotional growth, paired with those little moments—like both returning to the same restaurant on the off-chance of seeing each other—made the story so tender and believable.

The narration was excellent. Megan Wicks and Sean Masters had such natural chemistry, and Samantha Brentmoor’s performance gave the supporting moments a professional polish.

By the final chapter, I was completely invested in their HEA—proof that some love stories really are written by fate. 💞

Loved it!

I saw this book suggested on IG, but the person who wrote their post, the review of this book was kinda…backhanded?? It had the phrase “what did I just read?” And it made me think, hmm, is it going to be poorly written? Bad plot? Horrible timing?

I am SOO glad I looked past that weird review because this book was SO good! I loved the plot so much. The writing was so quirky and fun and light, full of personality. I fell in love with their background/history immediately, and you just couldn’t help but love them and root for them.

I loved all the secondary characters, especially Mrs.L and Gavin. I thought that scene where Gavin got into trouble with the money and called on Dillan was going to go in a completely different way, but I love how it just showed their loyalty and how Dillan was supportive of him and trying to help him on the path that was better for him. That was sweet scene actually.

I absolutely enjoyed this book, and adored how much Dillan and Lizzie loved each other even when there was miscommunication after miscommunication. I was so happy when she finally told him the truth and he reacted in such a positive way.

This book was just fun and feel-good and really hot!

Out on a blind date organized by her lovely elderly neighbour, Lizzie walks up to the wrong man who just happens to be her school girl sweetheart crush - Dillan Maxwell. They have a hot night of sex but unknown to her he gets called out to deliver a baby. He leaves a scribbled note but she cannot read it and he doesn't return to the hotel before she leaves. She puts it down to a one night stand and carries on with her life. He is disappointed that she wasn't there and he too does the same. As their separate lives continue the reader is allowed on the journey. But Dillan has left her a 'gift' - she is pregnant, as she goes to hospital to deliver her baby, her doctor is not available and yes - you guessed it Dillan is the Doc on call! They spend some time together but neither discusses their previous date. Once again they go their separate ways. But as with all great love stories their is an HEA for our couple but the journey to get there is brilliant. Funny, frustrating and very enjoyable. I couldn't put it down.

Blind date fate
A blind date that Lizzie really doesn’t want to go on turns out to be the best thing to happen to her in a long time. Reconnecting with her high school crush, Dillan, and an unforgettable night. But he’s a doctor and gets called to an emergency during the night and although he leaves a note his doctor scrawl leaves Lizzie with no way to get in contact.
With each thinking the other wants nothing further than one night, they try to move on but can’t stop thinking about each other.
When Lizzie discovers she’s pregnant she still has no way of contacting him so with her amazing friends prepares to be a single mother - only to have Dillan walk into the delivery room as her emergency doctor.
Fate has dealt her hand, Lizzie and Dillan clear the misunderstanding and pickup the relationship they both clearly want.
Sweet, steamy and emotional, with a wonderful and supportive friend group, a determined and independent woman, a protective and understanding man and a fast paced and entertaining storyline. There’s a couple secrets to add a little tension and an adorable baby for extra feels and a beautiful HEA.

Second Chance at Love and Happiness

OMG!!! I've read numerous Jolie Day books and I have to say, I think this is my favorite story of everything she's written. I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN! Dillan and Lizzie and as opposite as can be and yet just as much alike as can be. Who knew that one single night could change so many lives? All Lizzie ever dreamed of was opening her own dance studio and has saved up almost all of the money needed when our dashing doc, (who turns out to be her old high school flame.) saves her from a very awkward blind date. As you can guess, one thing leads to another and then they kinda ghost each other inadvertently. Miscommunication leads to them to be like two ships in the night until one fateful day when they come face to face again. I won't give anything away other to say that I absolutely loved this story and I know you will too! You'll laugh, you'll cry and you'll love love love!!!

I received an advance review copy from the author and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Jolie Day’s new book is heartwarming and romantic. High school crushes Dillan and Lizzie find true love years later after a mistaken blind date. Their journey to finding happiness is peppered with miscommunications and challenges. We discover that the doctor who doesn’t want children has a change of heart.

The secondary characters: Pippa, Mrs. L, and Gavin were pivotal to the story’s development. Although some story details weren’t very plausible, it didn’t sacrifice my interest in the book. Additionally, even though most of the book Dillan and Lizzie weren’t together, the author entertains the readers with their lustful dreams of intimacy.

Unlike some reviewers, I don’t believe the purpose of a review is to give a synopsis of the book. I choose to comment on the author’s talent and skill at bringing the story to life. This was an enjoyable and heartwarming story. I received a free advance reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my review.

This is a wonderful heartfelt love story that Lizzie and Dillon struggle with innocent decisions made without any thought how they will affect them later. Lizzie had a childhood crush on Dillon and years later they accidentally meet in a bar while Lizzie is meeting a blind date. Dillon saves her from an awkward date and they end up reconnecting experiencing emotions from years ago. Dillon leaves a number of rut at Lizzie cannot decipher her life goes on. Dillon is shocked he never hears from Lizzie. They both move forward disappointed and miserable. When life throws them together again in a difficult situation Dillon is very professional and Lizzie keeps her emotions hidden. Lizzie is surprised at Dillon’s constant help and how well they are getting along and once they take the time to have a conversation do they both realize that life took them on a longer journey to finding family and love!

I found the story quite entertaining, although it did rely heavily on miscommunication and missed opportunities for clarification. While the secret baby vibes were present, which isn't usually my preferred trope, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗝𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 managed to make it work in her own unique way.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 narration was exceptional, keeping me hooked from start to finish. The duet-style performance by 𝗝𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲 and 𝗠𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀, complemented by 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗮 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗼𝗼𝗿, was top-notch and truly brought the story to life.

𝗜𝗳 you're a fan of second chance romance and unexpected pregnancies, this audiobook is definitely worth a listen!

Blind Date With The Billionaire Doc was a good read. Lizzie reluctantly agrees to a blind date with a doctor that is setup by her older neighbor Mrs L. When she gets there, she finds a man with a red pocket square which is the description she was given of her date. The man she walks up to isn't her date but he just so happens to be her high school boyfriend!! Dillan is an obgyn and recently moved back to the city and is happy that Lizzie has sat next to him at the bar. They spend the night together but Dillan is called away on an emergency and they lose touch. Now 9 months later guess who is delivering their baby?! I loved Dillan he was a good guy and swoony. Lizzie was sweet and a hard worker. I loved their chemistry and connection. They were cute together.

Blind date with the wrong Doc

Lizzie and Dillan meet when she mistakes him for her blind date. They have instant chemistry, dinner, and then leave for a nearby hotel that Dillan frequents for his one night stands while his apartment undergoes renovations.

Dillan leaves in the middle of the night for an emergency delivery, and while he leaves his number, Lizzie can’t decipher it so they never reconnect.

Until just under full term, Lizzie’s water breaks and her OB/GYN is unavailable. Enter Dillan to deliver his own son… but he doesn’t put the pieces together right away.

I enjoyed the banter between the characters, but I didn’t like Lizzie keeping her profession (burlesque dancing) and he finds out by accident.

There is a happy ending for Lizzie and Dillan, and baby Isaac.

This is a laugh out loud book that will make you not want to put it down. Dillan and Lizzie will have you wanting to see how long it takes them to get together. A blind date goes right with the wrong man, but is he really the wrong man? Lizzie doesn't think so when her date turns out to be her highschool crush.
Blind date turns in to a one night romance. Lizzie thinks Dillan blew her off but finds herself pregnant from their date. It's not in the plan but she rolls with it. Dillan however has no clue and wonders why Lizzie didn't wait for him after their night together or never calls when he left his number. Will they ever get things straightened out? Read the book to find out!

BLIND DATE WITH THE BILLIONAIRE DOC is a sweet 2nd chance/3rd chance romance. Lizzie and Dillan are HS sweethearts who unexpectedly reunite after several years. It’s obvious from the start that they have a strong connection. Of course, after their one night getting reconnected things get a little disconnected but that’s what makes this a fun read. Because although they may think they are finished, fate (and we) know better. These are delightful characters with a delicious story that will take you on an entertaining journey with charming twists and bumps along the way. It’s just one of those stories that make you smile and feel good from start to finish.

An entertaining book with the ultimate second chance love story. Lizzie is a woman who is determined to follow her passion in life and fulfill her lifelong dream. She is a hard worker but it leaves little room for a social life. Dillan has worked his way into a successful career as a doctor but doesn’t seem fulfilled, not knowing what he’s missing. Fate intervenes and forever changes their lives. Dillan is a great guy- he’s understanding, accepting, and wants to make Lizzie happy. He knows how to step up and be a protector but also discovers he has a nurturing side too. Despite all the obstacles and misunderstandings they get their happy ever after. Another great read from Jolie!

Dillan and Lizzie

Blind date mix up, she had a crush on him when they were younger… he realizes instantly he wants her. One night stand - he gives her his phone number but it’s so sloppy she can’t get it right. Few months later she realizes she’s pregnant. She dances at a burlesque club and he’s a rich doctor. She’s having the baby and who is the doctor… only he’s a bit clueless and doesn’t realize he’s the father until he goes to visit her because- even with a baby… he wants her. But then she tells him Issac is his and he’s all in ❤️

Hea she owns a dance studio no proposal yet

Blind Date with the Billionaire Doc is a fun read. I loved Dillan and Lizzie so much. You will giggle through this one as old high school friends reconnect and a one night stand follows. I love how Lizzie lives her life and doesn't give up her dream. Dillan is a sweetheart with messy handwriting. He is more than meets the eye and you will love him once the timing is right. Lizzie and Dillan are so sweet together. I loved every moment of this one. You need to one click this today.

Lizzie agreed to blind date, everything went great till she found out, that the guy is not her date. He saves her from her real date by kissing her. Oh, that kiss brought memories, only one person kissed her like that, Dillian. Finally their dream came true and they had they night together, he had to leave early, but he left her with a gift. They meet nine moths later, when he is the doctor, who helps her delivery their child.
Storyline is sweet and I did enjoy a lot.

I thought this book was pretty good. Laughs, romance and spice. I got caught up in the story right away. There were a few slow spots but overall it held my attention well. Lizzie and Dillan’s story was definitely unconventional and there was a lot of miscommunication between them, a real comedy of errors. I liked the way everything came together to work out in the end.
