Please be aware, this is absolutely kinky:

35 pages full of smut. Read at your own risk ... You really have to like it. I never got “Princess” out of my head and have never found a comparable book. This one is much more compact and has even less plot, it lacks some of the brainwashing you get as a reader. But it's still so good, oh it's like a truck hitting a wall ... in the absence of any more sensible thoughts ...

Compared to Christoph’s shrunken piece, more clit than cock, Waltz was practically a horse.

This was one of those stories that simply didn’t vibe with me. The premise was intriguing, but the tone and dynamic ended up being a little too intense and emotionally cold for my personal taste. I’m more drawn to stories that blend intensity with warmth and connection, and this one just leaned too far in the other direction. That said, I know this might hit the right spot for readers who enjoy darker, more psychologically intense themes. Just wasn’t for me. 😬

Not sure how I feel about this one - Daniel May often pushes my boundaries but this might be too far for me. It’s extreme forced feminisation/dollification erotica. If you liked Princess you might enjoy this but it goes harder imo so bear that in mind.

I have got to stop giving this man my money

Note, I'm reviewing all the books at once because I don't feel like breaking it all down. I'm not that much of a masochist. If you take nothing else away, just know this is not a romance, And while it's not pretending to be a romance, it's not trying to invoke any good or titillating feels either. I don't know what this is supposed to do, but he got my money, so I guess mission accomplished? Anyway, on to the review.

Here's the thing. For a while now, I have known that Daniel May doesn't write books for me. In fact, he very much doesn't write books for anyone but himself. His words, not mine. However, this book has a lot of things that I do enjoy reading because life is hard, and I don't need to explain myself. But Daniel, being Daniel, is going to... Well, Daniel. 

The esoteric writing, paired with smut scenes that were very hard to follow, made for a very strange reading experience. Then, the book went in a direction I most definitely was not expecting, and I can't say I enjoyed it. And as bad as I feel saying this, I'm going to say to anyway. I didn't enjoy any of this. Something about this felt very uncomfortable and not in a fun way. Because I don't think anyone was having a great except maybe Grant. In fact, we spend more time in his perspective and narrative than we do with Walt or Christopher, who I thought this book was supposed to be about. It was a lot and I just didn't vibe with it.

Once upon a time, I was a Daniel May fan, and this has just solidified that those days are never coming back. The only reason this is getting two stars is because it feels mean to give a book one star when I kind of knew I wasn't going to like it. But I picked it up because I have enjoyed his books in the past. I loved Princess and Clean Freak. I thought I would like this one too. But when Daniel said that he was done writing books to market and was only going to write what he wanted, I should have taken the man at face value.

This one was a good read, but there was a lot of degradation and humiliation (which is usually not my thing). I'm writing the ending in my head (since it was left a tiny bit open) that Christoph realizes he enjoys all the changes by Waltz, and that he actually gets off on being put down and feminized. He moves in and they become partners - with Waltz taking care of Christoph. The end 🤣🤣
