literally read in like a day, phenomenal book. had great pacing and was perfect as the 3rd book in the series. this one was spicyyy and the spice was always placed in a senseful way. this one is probably my favorite in the series. it gave me literally everything i could want in a book, spice, fantastic plot, great character depth, i was nervous the momentum would fall but this one did NOT disappoint

- literally everything
- spice was so good i swear
- relationship growth and depth was spectacular
- character depth & seeing rhowyns progression was so well done
- answers to a lot of lingering questions

Once again, I am wishing I could exist in Avalon. The adventures and deep emotions that I’ve experienced in this series so far have exceeded all of my expectations. I am a voracious reader so it’s a blessing and a curse. I am blessed to have been able to read this story and experience the rollercoaster of emotions and fall deeper in love with each character. Now, I am cursed because of my inability to put the book down lol but what can I say? It’s just sucked me in and won’t let go!

Avah has outdone herself with this one and I know the last book is going to be phenomenal and I cannot wait.

You will NOT be disappointed reading this series.

Wow, we learned so much in this book. Who Brannoc is to them and where he fits in and all the pieces are starting to come together. I enjoyed this book so much as it had so much action and some tense parts. Also that ending they are ready to start a war with her consorts and I am here for it.

So now it’s time to gear up for a war and now she has all her me by her side, family she has gained and new ones. I really enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to the final book which will be out in 2weeks. I gave this book 5 ⭐️ and 2.25 🌶️ any scene where Arryn is in charge is 🥵.

If you have not read this series I highly recommend it for a new author it is fantastic.

Where book two already picked up speed and momentum, this book PICKS IT UP. I just love this series and I feel like it's getting better with every single book as Avah finds into her writing style and world (which is not say that the first book is any less good, because I love it).

This seriously has become one of my favorite series and I feel honored to be part of the author's journey.

Avah did it again!!! OMG this book was soooooo good. The cliffhanger is killer.. haha! I loved the way the characters grew in this installment. We met some new friends this time and I am obsessed. I was so happy to see the relationship between Brannoc & Rhowyn grow. Brannoc is definitely my favorite. I really enjoyed learning about the Ravens and really hope to see them in other books. Can't wait for book 4!

Wow!! Just, wow! Another amazing book in this series and I cannot wait to read the last book! All the revelations and growth that takes place with Rho and her men, together and individually is truly fantastic. The addition of new characters and getting to learn more about Avalonia are setting the story up for the finale. I'm so excited to find out how it all ends, yet I dread finishing this series. It's so good!!

Avah, your world and characters are so beautiful and this story has been such a treat to experience! I cannot wait for Their Queen to discover how it all plays out and to find out which character demanded her own story! 😍

This series keeps getting better!
As a voracious reader, I get bored easily but this series has kept my attention non-stop. Another long night reading because I couldn’t put this book down!
Rhowyn and her consorts have been through a lot so far but they’re working for the life they want. The way the spicy scenes have been written have steadily improved over this series and boy are they hot.
I cannot wait for the final book.
This will go down as one of my Favorite series of all times.

The suspense in this series keeps on building up. We dive right in after a fascinating cliffhanger in book two, that leads our characters on a new path to defeat queen Titiana. New characters enter the scene, we learn more about the world they are all living in and there is room for more relationship building (and spice) between our main characters. It’s not just the relationships between Rhowyn and her men that become stronger, there are also some more intense connections forming between a few of the men. The suspense is high, there is plenty of action, and once again the author shows us how to end a book on a cliff! Book four will be the final book, and I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for these characters.

Avah did it again! These books really just catapult you into Rhowyn's life and sink its teeth into you. I cannot put these down once I start them! Rhowyn's journey continues after the trials, and Titania continues to try and thwart Rhowyn at every step and put her own puppet in the role of Queen to keep herself in power. More than Rhowyn's life and those of her consorts and mates are at stake, though. Avalonia has other plans, though. 😉

My favorite book of the series! I couldn’t put it down. Not only did Rho and her guys get answers to many questions, but we (the readers) were introduced to additional characters that added another layer of intrigue! I LOVED the Ravens and cannot wait to learn more. The author kept a steady pace and nothing felt rushed. The multiple POVs was the perfect way to gain more insight into the motivations/thoughts of the guys and I enjoyed their growth.

*I wanted to love it… but mostly, I just mildly nodded at it.*

So, I went into *Their War* thinking, “Okay, I know how this is gonna go.” And for the most part? I was right. It felt a little cookie-cutter, with a lot of familiar beats I’ve seen before. I kept waiting for that *something* to really grab me—and while there were a few unexpected twists that perked me up, they weren’t quite enough to carry the whole thing.

It wasn’t bad, just… kinda there. Like lukewarm tea. I sipped it, I finished it, but I wasn’t exactly raving about it afterward. If you’re looking for a book that doesn’t ask too much of your brain and throws in a surprise or two, this might hit the spot. Otherwise, it’s probably not one that’s going to stick with me for long.

When suddenly you know you're the last hope

I've been soooo invested in this story since I fist started it in book one. I've been so surprised on so many occasions. There are so many moving parts v to this story.

This part starts right where Their Trials ended. So we start with Brannoc getting the consorts to safety and Rho being imprisoned. Knowing there is still one more trial out there the Queen must be sure Rho is as weak as possible.

Always waiting to see what the queen is going to do next is both frustrating and unexpected. How has she gotten so strong and how can we have any hope of fixing whatever she has done?

I absolutely love the way everyone's relationships have been growing. The intimate moments are perfect and done in ways that actually bring so much more to the story. Everyone is slowly finding their place(s) and they are becoming the unstoppable force that is needed.

That ending though.....talk about leaving so many unanswered questions and leaving us hanging.

This is the final book in this amazing series and it wrapped up so beautifully! This book was just as good if not better than the other three! I love how all of the characters grew on their own and grew together. The journey that has happened throughout this books has been crazy but so interesting and fun. I don’t know how the heck Avah Larke does it, but boy does she bring the world building, spice and action in book three of the Reluctant Royals series. I think this one is the most action packed one yet and I loved every second. Book three continues to follow Rhowyn and her guys, but we get a lot of solo action, which I really liked, because you can really see Rhowyn, as an individual and how she stands without her men by her side. I think book three is the spiciest one of them yet and I really appreciated how each spicy scene was woven into the story. Also, can we talk about queen Titania. I swear Avah created an evil genius and while I usually loathe the bad guys, she’s so awful I love her.

Buckle up and hold on for one wild ride. If you haven’t yet given the Reluctant Royals series a try, I beg you too I promise you won’t be disappointed. Be sure to start with book 1 Their Chosen, as this series shouldn’t be read out of order. I cannot wait for book four Their Queen.

Whew baby when I say a whirlwinddddddd! I absolutely admire Rho never giving up and always pushing back, fighting even when there seems to be no end in sight! This book has all the adventure and action needed to keep your imagination full along with also being able to stay intrigued with the guessing game of what’s gonna happen next bc you literally never freaking know! I’ve read a lot of books and there’s only a few that threw me for a loop like nope didn’t see that coming lol Avah definitely is on that side of town 😭anywayssss this book definitely has the right amount of spice and not just on every. Single. Page. Like I love smexy time but I want action, adventure, laughter, madness, angst, tension I literally want it allllllllll and that’s what Avah does best with her words baby she gives it all! Also I definitely was hoping for a 6th mate bc I love the big harems loll but it definitely turned out for the better bc Callum and Brannoc are two extra people in their own right!

The ending had me screaming for the next bookkkk. This series is so addictive. I have read through the series so far twice and, I fall for the characters more and more every time. How versatile and just how accepting Rowyn is of her men. Also the spice, hooooooo boyyyyyy. Things get so spicyyyyy, if you don't like MM, there is some in this book but it was perfect enough where it didn't leave the FMC out of all the fun. Also I enjoy this author so much on how we get to see more of this world and things that you we to discover right along side of Rhowyn. I want to visit Avalon so bad just to see some of the same things! Some of the plot twits make me hungry for so much more and had me freaking out thinking no way! This is a great third book for the series and I can't wait until the 4th book!

Book three and I think this is even more exciting and engaging then the previous two. Rhowyn must decide not to give up and how to work with her men to become what they need to become to defeat the enemy and get their hea. It’s a thrilling addition that’s brimming with action, adventure, suspense and intrigue, it’s totally captivating and had me hooked from start to finish as the author prepares us for the final book. Twists and turns to keep us spinning and on the edge of our seat, I thoroughly enjoyed this and cannot wait to read the last book!

I am so glad the last book ended on a cliffhanger just so I could read this one faster. I devoured this book and I'm honestly more and more impressed the more I read. The description of Avalon are ponderous and I love the fact that Rhowyn isn't just a damsel waiting on her men to save the day. The only bad thing about finishing this one was there's only one more! This is definitely a series I will read again.

Such a beautiful dedication at the start of the story hints at what is to come. I've giggled, cackled and cried. I've rolled my eyes, seethed in anger and gasped at the twists and turns. Avah Larke has created art that pulls at your emotions, tugging on your heart strings as you rally with Rhowyn and her men on their mission to restore balance to Avalon.

This series was really slow to start, but it finally picked up in this book! I didn't like the weird miscommunication trope with Brannoc, but I do love his addition to the group, and I'm really excited to read the next book.
