Nice cover and story
I kind of hoped the story would intrigue me as much as the cover. The idea in my head was about a woman and a man finding an alluring connection. Here's the real story. The lingerie business owner took a back seat to the intense relationship. The high points in the story entailed, a conniving co worker, shady business deals, an owner who lost his vision, a business in a crisis, and a lovely angst-driven romance. It was a good read. I need that red piece on the cover. I know, I would need to borrow the model's body too. Oh well... 4.8 stars.

This was a cute, quick read for me. It was obvious that Simone and Darius were attracted from the moment he entered her boutique trying to convince her to sell it to the company he worked for. I enjoyed how the pair became familiar with each other on the pretense of discussing business. It wasn’t long before Simone and Darius acted on their attraction and chose to mix a little “fun” with their business relationship. I appreciated how Simone was so confident with her body. She didn’t shy away from any opportunity to wear her beautiful designs for Darius, and she didn’t take any of his crap when the sh*t hit the fan with their business relationship. Too often in romance novels, the plus-sized heroine settles for poor behavior from weak men due to self-esteem issues. Simone’s outlook was refreshing. This story gave what i have come to expect from Sean D. Young… a sensuous romance that is steamy without being too raunchy. I am looking forward to the next installment in the series I hope that story is centered on her best friend, Keisha.

I loved this story! Sean D Young presents her readers with a sensuous story that presents an intimate vibe between two people who are definitely attracted to each other. Darius Mitchell and Simone Reid have a thing for each other, but it’s also a case of mixing business with pleasure. Simone’s business, Intimate Secrets, is not doing well, and Darius has been assigned by the company he works for to help her get on track with financial support. At least, that’s the plan until Darius’ boss flips the script.
Can Simone and Darius’ relationship survive? Will Simone be able to pull her company out of the red? There are so many layers to this story, and they all come together to present an alluring story that will tingle your senses. I recommend it for your reading pleasure. Betrayed By Omission
What do you do when you've been betrayed by the man you love and the man you love was betrayed by the company he worked for? This is a story of overcoming obstacles and finding your way back to love
Simone and Darius mixing business and pleasure. It blew up in their faces. It took Darius loosing Simone to realize that working for a company who lost its way, was against his morals. Plus, he failed to communicate the changes coming forth in the contract. Because of that omission, his loyalty and love to Simone was questioned.
He had to work hard to get Simone to trust him again.

Conscience & Conviction
Hmmm, Darius & Simone a couple 🥴..I guess ⁉️”Intimate Allure (The Intimate Series - Book 1)” was a good read. However, I’m still conflicted by Darius. Ultimately, yes he was convicted by his misleading actions, made better professional choices, made a concerted efforts to rectify his conscience and repaired his relationships with family/Simone. The reconciliation between the two is/was premature.
