This is a second chance romance and it is Shane and Mallory’s story and it is definitely a must read. When Shane was convicted of a crime that he didn’t do he lost everything including the girl that he had feeling for. Now after spending eight years in prison he had been released but he knew that his life would not be easy because the judgment of the people in the town of him is still strong. Mallory had loved Shane for years and didn’t believe that he committed the crime that he was in prison for and she was also determined to still be there for and support him even though he had constantly tried to push her away but she believed in him and will not be going anywhere regardless of what the town thinks or says about him. Shane and Mallory have always had feelings for each other and the more time that they spend together the deeper they fall in love but then things start to happen which is not only putting their lives in danger but could also put Shane back in prison and Mallory will not let that happen even though Shane said that she should keep her distance from him but working together makes them stronger and it is now a race against time to not only eliminate the threat but also find the person involved and bring them to justice so that they can not only clear Shane’s name but also give Shane and Mallory the happiness and future that they should have had years ago and also what they both deserve. Wow I absolutely loved Shane and Mallory together and there chemistry and connection was so strong and even though there relationship had many ups and downs and was not plain sailing they definitely deserved to be together and live there lives in peace without constant conflict. The storyline pulled you in and kept your attention throughout the whole book and it was a real page turner and so addictive. I can’t wait to read more books by this author in the future.

Sometimes you get a second chance but when you get that chance take it or so they say well don’t start this one if you aren’t ready to finish it in one go. Shane and Mallory had an attraction before he was convicted of a crime, he didn’t commit losing everything including his girl. Fast forward eight years he is being released to a world that has changed so much nothing is the same life was not longer easy in fact it boarded impossible with all the judgement but his girl Mallory didn’t forget about him in fact she believed in his innocence so when he gets out she is determined to be the strength he needs although, he doesn’t want her mixed up with him his life is a hot mess nothing to offer her and she shows him she is stronger she isn’t going anywhere no matter how many times he push. They had feelings before he was convicted now that he is out their feelings have grown stronger especially with the time they spend with each other they are in love but whomever committed the crime can’t let them be happy because they are working on clearing his name putting their lives in danger also risk of him being rearrested but Mallory is in for the long haul she isn’t going anywhere but they realize they are stronger together while trying to figure out who set him up becomes a race against time to run from the threat, find who is behind his conviction and bring justice clearing his name but who would set him up like that, will they figure out the who, the why, will he get retribution for serving eight years being innocent, and will they get their HEA?

I loved His Return: A second chance romance. Shane is getting out of prison after 8 years. He still maintains his innocence but just wants to get on with his life. Mallory was just his friend but she knew he was innocent, yet he pushed her away but now she wont let him. They have grown closer but danger is coming for them. People still think he is guilty and look for what he supposedly stole. He tries to push Mallory away but she’s safer with him. Things aren’t what they seem and sometimes the danger comes from the people you least expect. I loved the storyline and the characters. I was so happy with the ending. I would definitely recommend this book.

I enjoyed reading this book. Once I started reading His Return, I didn't want to put it down. The characters are great and the storyline hooked me from the start. I don't want to spoil this book for anyone so I won't go into details. Please read the book blurb for some information about the book. I recommend reading this book. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Mallory has pined for Shane’s love for years. Shane has returned home after his time in prison to a frosty reception.
Small town dynamics show bias towards Shane but Mallory still has faith in him even if she is the only one in town who does.
No romance is complete without complications and there are a lot to deal with, family included. Kidnapping, slander, mysterious deeds pointing towards Shane, but he gets support from some unexpected people.
Read their journey to their (maybe) happy ever after!

Mallory believed in Shane when he went to prison eight years ago for a crime he didn't commit. Now he's been released but things are not as smooth sailing as they'd hope with some still believing him guilty. Regardless, she stands by her man in this dramatic and steamy romance.
