Stonebrook Shifters: Hidden Guardian

On the edge of Stonebrook Oregon, hidden among the towering pines, resides a pack of shifters that hide in plain sight. Their survival would be threatened if the locals knew what they really were, but the humans are not the problem. The world of the supernatural is vast and, for the most part, devious. The only ones the wolves can trust are a couple of witches, the group of shifters to the north, and themselves. Life is difficult and throws every trial imaginable at them, other packs, witches, warlocks, their enemies scatter far and wide. That only makes the reward of success sweeter.
This story will follow Ren and Matt.

Nobody does Shifter Romance quite like Jessy Beckett and Hidden Guardian was no exception!!

Not only did she bring the most amazing, most incredible, sexiest man in existence, Matt, to life but she did it so seamlessly. Matt fits perfectly with the rest of the pact and his story was so powerful, it leaves you utterly sated and all up in your feels.

This book was filled with banter, action, angst, and so much passion. Ren and Matt is the perfect new couple to Stonebrook and together with their little cub, they make the perfect family. They also have the best chemistry and an extra little kink in their very spicy love story that brought me to my knees.

I absolutely loved the battles that took place and the fierce manner in which these wolves protect and fight for their mates. And OMG PLOT TWIST!!! Absolute perfection 🤌

I laughed, I screamed, I heavily salivated. This story did all the things!!!

This story was incredibly plot driven. You get to go through everything with the characters. The action in this book was constantly keep me on my toes.

You also have the chance to see the dynamic of their found family and the wolf pack.

With this book I never found a dull moment and I wanted to pick it up every single chance I’ve had.

Jessy! This book was perfect! I absolutely devoured this book in one sitting. Matt and Ren are so amazing to together and of course I love we get to meet Brody, gosh I just fell into with this series all over again! The banter was again on point, your description of everything was 🤌🏻 perfection, I felt like I was there with them the whole time! Ohhh the spice of definitely spicy in this book🥵, and ohh how I loved it! I always love how you always have underlining message in each book. Well done Jessy Beckett you out done yourself🖤🖤

This is book 4 in the Stonebrook Shifter series, so I highly recommend you read book 1-3 before you get into this one.

This book hands down was so plot driven that it allows you to see more in depth and why there is such a riff and why the clan of the bears are so hell bent on helping the warlocks, breed the stonebrook shifters clan and it gives more light into matt and ren's past and their childhood and why both of them are connected in so many ways and are struggling to break free from that bear clan. this book's spice was different than the rest of the series there was a new kink that was put into this book and I really enjoyed it I thought that it gave Matt a certain edge and it also allowed ren to let go and given to her cravings. I adored the relationship between Matt and Brody that Bond was really significant and super sweet. I also thought that side characters had more of a bigger part in this book Cora really stood out with her feistiness and her comments and it just makes you laugh, Connor had a really big part I feel like in this but I feel like he's had a big part in every single book but I feel like this book gives you more of an insight on to how he thinks that's just my opinion and I love the epilogue like it makes you want to see more of Connor and you just fall more in love with him. Overall this is a must read it is a very very intense and it's packed full with twist and hidden agendas it's just so on the edge of your seat it keeps you wanting more.

I am so happy I got a chance to read Matt and Ren story. This book had my favorite thing, knife play lol. Ren son Brody is so cute, like come on who doesn’t like a cute little bear cub. Jessy made me laugh, cry, fall in love, and scream. Poor Jessy was getting messages from me like crazy lol. This book was amazing, I love Matt, Ren and Brody. They are the perfect family. It was exciting to see some old friends pop up in this story. I honestly can not wait for book 5 which is Conners story. Thank you Jessy for letting me read this book and be part of your team!! It means so much to me.

The MMCs just keep getting better! Matt and Ren’s story was so good!!

Matt definitely reminded me of a big old bear while reading all the other books.
Ren wow 🤯 talk about the women being powerhouses that don’t need saving but will take it now and then!

This book has even more twists, turns, and 🤯 surprises!

I am loving this series each couple has something new and unique they bring to the pack.

I highly recommend! And again read in order!

This series just keeps getting better and better. Fated mates, found families and a group of badass witcholves who have a weakness for smut. What's not to love?! This is the 4th installment of the Stonebrook saga - focusing on the story of Matt and Ren. Riddled with troubled pasts, they are forced to fight for the family and love they both deserved. Just when you think things are finally settling down and everything is falling into place, they're greeted by blasts from the past that just won't stay dead. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Jessy is always on point with this series. everytime I think I’ve found my favorite couple, she proves me wrong. I love Ren and Matt so much. Both broken by a common enemy before finding each other. The Stonebrook Shifters are back, and man, does this one pack a wallop. The MFC is a fierce protective mamma, and she is not to be messed with. Lots of action and spice that keep you reading non-stop and some fierce battles. Lots of old and new characters to love, and I can't wait to see how the series contest down the road!

This series has quickly become one of my favorites! Wolfshifters, found family, magic, tattooed MMC, fated mates... what is there not to like?! It kept my attention and ended on a huuuge cliffhanger. Can't wait for the next installment.

Can I just say that I am OBSESSED with the world Jessy is building with the Stonebrook shifters. The way this series has me in a chokehold - I'm not mad about it though. But it means that I'm always desperate for the next book to come out and i never ever want this series to end!

Ren & Matt's book did not disappoint. This might be my fave book of the series (yes, I know I say that every time 🙄🤣) but the little family that Matt, Ren & Little Bear create - has me all up in my feels.

What I love about this series is that yes the men are OTT protective, but they stand behind their women, lend them their strength but let them find their own form of vengeance. They never jump in and "fix" but know that there is such power in them taking back what is theirs. A

Lots of plot, lots of angst and twists & turns along the way - and it wouldn't be a Stonebrook Shifters book without me sending Jessy unhinged messages when I'm going through it all.

I was so happy to get more of the Stonebrook pack!! This one had great found family vibes and lots of the emotions we have come to know and love in the Stonebrook shifters books! I was given the honour of reading an ARC of this book. I definitely enjoyed it. Ren & Matt’s story is a beautiful one, and the spice was on point! I really liked that there was more to a lot of the shifters in the book than just their animal. That isn’t something I’ve personally seen a lot of. It definitely left me with more questions than answers, but I think that’s such a positive. I am looking forward to more of Connor’s story, I really hope he gets a HEA.

I love this series, and this book, the fourth in the Stonebrook Shifters Series, made me love it even more! I highly suggest you read the first three books in the series, as the Hidden Guardian plot continues from where the last book left off. The MMCs in this book are Matt & Ren, and I think they might be my new favourite couple from the series. Ren has experienced so much hardship and trauma in her life. People have mistreated her, making it hard to trust in others. When Matt and Ren meet, they instantly feel the connection and know they are mates. Matt is willing to prove that he is a man to be trusted before rushing their connection. Matt has been waiting for his true mate for a long time and finally feels his life has purpose and meaning: to love, support, & protect not only Ren but also her son Brody.
The Stonebrook Shifters still have enemies to face. Ren and Brody are also wrapped up in the danger the pack faces. Matt, Ren and the members of the Stonebrook Shifter Pack will have to deal with their enemies to live the quiet, peaceful life they all seek.

I love so many aspects of this book, but I think this book may be my favourite in the series thus far due to how Matt treats Ren and her son. Ren struggles to open up, but Matt does not push her. He offers support from a distance and waits for her to be open to building their connection. I love how he helps her see her beauty both inside and out. He loves Brody, and he treats him like he is his own cub. Ren is such an incredibly strong FMC who has spent most of her son’s life keeping him safe from danger. Constantly moving in order to stay one step ahead of those looking to hurt her and her son. She cares deeply and wants to make the best life for her, Brody, Matt and their pack. I think she really resonates with me as a mom, her bravery and unwavering love for her son.
I highly recommend this series!

This whole series is a win! I love that with each story I get to see whole picture of a new set of characters. Sam and Ren are both a little damaged from the past with their past clans. Ren is such a tough FMC and I loved watching her come into her own. Sam is such a sweet soul especially considering everything he has been through I love watching grow into such a family man for Ren. The book had amazing flow and kept my attention the entire time. I was on the edge of my seat and invested in every single character. The stonebrook pack is so welcoming to people in need and welcomes them in like family. Every couple has their little quirks and I love human it makes them all seem. I know that I am super excited for whose story comes next. I love that every story builds on the last couple as well. I can’t wait to see what makes Connor who he is. I’m curious to see where things go next with this story considering everything with Jude. I’m looking forward to more of my questions being answered. Jessy is an amazing writer and I look forward to every book she puts out. I love her ability to build a scene I can literally picture exactly whats happening. The witty banter and character interactions just make for a wonderful experience.

I started this series last year when Jessy was releasing Hidden Traitor, the third book in this series and it was my first time reading shifter romances.

This fourth book follows Ren and Matt. Ren is seeking a place to hide and protection for her and her cub and Matt is trying to respect her space and be a good mate. When warlocks and war bears come looking for Ren and her cub, the pack bands together again to defeat them, hopefully, once and for all.

Being a new mom, the addition of Ren's son, Brody, added an element to the story that had me on the edge of my seat. Even though this review is way late, I think I read it at the perfect time because, now I have this mama bear instinct and could relate with that side of the story too. I don’t think there were as many plot twist in this one as there were in the last book but that doesn’t mean it was any less interesting. Matt is super protective of Ren and Brody and takes Brody in as his own without a second thought.
I love how full circle these books are and I can’t wait to finally read about Connor and Raina in the next book!

We venture back to the Stonebrook pack. Last time we checked in on our favorite pack of werewolves Matt had just discovered his fated mate in form of Remys childhood friend Ren. With Ren came her little bear Brody and a whole lot of people looking to cause them harm but that's what the Stonebrook pack is about right? Protecting their own. Matt has to come face to face with the horror of his own upbringing while helping Ren face the horrors shes been dealt in life all the while Lu is building her pack to continue the fight against the warlocks and alphas who view female shifters and witches as nothing more than wombs, an idea Lu herself was a product of. When its said and done Matt will do anything to protect Ren and their cub, their family will always have their back and the Stonebrook pack won't stop fighting.

This series is the perfect mixture of spice, shifter lore, witchyness and badass women. I can't wait for the next book in the series and anyone who runs across these please do yourself a favor and dive in!! You won't regret it!!!

This is the 4th book in the Stonebrook Shifter Series (still one of my top shifter series ever) picks up with Matt and Ren front and center. They are fated mates yet ahe is leery of any man. Her history is heartbreaking and her whole life is focused on keeping her son safe and away from those who hurt her and want him. She has found family with Lu and the Stonebrook pack where Matt is patiently, impatiently waiting for her to be ready for their relationship as mates.

This book was the biggest rollercoaster ride of the series. Maybe that's because as a mom, I definitely relate to the need to protect your child at any cost. The spice was 🔥 but as always the plot is the shining star in Jessy's series. I cannot wait for the next book to see how the pack takes on those who have hurt their family.

Matt (MMC) knows that Ren has secrets. He wants to give her time; be patient. His wolf, on the other hand, wants to take what is his. Will she let him in? Can they be a family? Can he and the pack keep her and her cub safe from whatever dangers they will face?

This is book 4 in the Stonebrook Shifters series. This book is action packed and it has everything that is needed for an excellent book that will keep your attention. This follows Ren and Matt’s story and gives great backstory, and you see it come full circle. You can also see the character's growth. Plus, you do have all the other characters that we fall for from the previous books. It also gives more insight as to what and how the villains have been plotting all along. You get action, spice, found family, the twist that the females are feisty, strong and are breaking barriers. I love that we see more of Connor and what he has gone through and has made him to be how he is.

Jessy Beckett has done it again! I always knew Matt was going to be my man.

The pack is thriving, new members are arriving, and the power is shifting. Matt strives to be better than what he was raised around and has longed for a family. When Ren shows up with a little surprise he doesn't even bat an eye, immediately stepping into the role he has dreamed of and he will do anything to keep them safe. Ren is so relatable for me and she fits in so perfectly with the rest of the strong FMCs of Stonebrook.

Hidden Guardian is Matt and Ren's story and if you don't know who they are, get to reading this series. There is so much going on here; heartache, fear, love, unexpected twists. Jessy has written yet another rollercoaster journey for her characters and you really get to feeling it with them. The found family trope comes to life in this with past characters and new ones coming.

Hidden Guardian made an already wonderful series even better. The storyline is original. The steam is spicy, and I remained interested to see how it ended all the way through. I liked the battle in this one and the interaction between the characters. If you want good vs evil this is a great shifter series to dive into.
