ARC Review:
This book was so good. It was just as fast paced as book 1 with all the tension and twists. I also thought the love story between Lauren and Ethan was sweet, they both went through a growing phase. I love Lauren’s character growth the most, she’s definitely working hard to overcome her trauma and not lose her self to it while growing into a stronger woman.
I highly recommend this series.

🌶

Hours of Light picks up immediately where Book 1, Hours of Darkness, left off. It follows Lauren, now in her 20s, working an administrative job in Boston. Lauren literally falls into the CEO of the company she works for and a romance begins.

This story was more interesting for me to read than the last one. However, I'm not sold on the love interest for Lauren. He seems too superficial for me with his "baby" this and "baby that."

Also, Lauren, girl, will you ever catch a break? I feel so bad for you. You've had more trauma than a person should! This book was suppose to be the "Light" for Lauren but I didn't feel a lot of Light, like I expected to. Maybe it's because I didn't like Ethan lol.

But I will read Book 3 to see if Lauren finally gets a true happy ever after.

I really, really loved this book. It’s a very different story from the first book in the series since the focus moves from Lauren’s traumatic experiences and grief to more growth and romance in the second book. Of course grief is still a huge topic in this book, and I think it’s handled really well. Particularly in the realistic aspects of still experiencing triggers even years after an event, or the intensity of having to discuss your previous trauma with a new partner. I love how V.F. Molloy handles tough topics with grief and loss, trust, and loneliness in such a realistic and motivating way.

I cannot tell you how excited I am for the final part of this trilogy to come out. The first book set the stage for a young woman experiencing and conquering so much adversity, and the second book set the stage for that young woman finding an intense love story with a whole new and eccentric family included.

The only single thing I didn’t love about this book is that some of the adversities the main character faced were pretty predictable in this book. But I have to say, I truly didn’t mind this - yes, I saw the issues coming, but it also made sense in the story and I was glad to read each bit of this book. I can’t wait for summer to come so I can read the final installment!

When I read the last page of Hours of Light by V. F. Molloy my first thought was nooooooooo! I was not ready to take a break from being wrapped up in Lauren and Ethan’s story! While Lauren has literally the worst luck with horrible situations, her bright light is Ethan! I love how her story is developing! Again, I cried so many times throughout this book. The emotions were real that I was feeling and that is a definite sign of great writing!! The third book in this series needs to come out asap, I don’t want to wait to see more of their story! If you have not started this trilogy or have only read the first, what are you waiting for! You will not regret the time spent reading this wonderful story!

Hours Of Lights, is a four star book! In this second book in the series, the main character, Lauren, starts working at a great company. While starting to settle in she falls for a the CEO of the company. This man tries to deny his feelings for Lauren but he keeps falling in love with her, who’s perfect for him. Their love is a great read.
Things unravel that there is trouble in the company and chaos happens. Their love keeps blossoming after the aftermath. Things seem to be calming down, but a rush from the past enters during a family meal. This romantic thriller is a great story leaning right into the next novel in the series, which I can’t wait I read.

Book 2 in the Hours trilogy did not disappoint.

After all of the turmoil and darkness in book one, I was craving a happy turn of events for Lauren. With lifetime movie vibes, this book had ALL of the twists and turns.

Can’t wait for book 3 to see how Lauren’s story ends .. I have a feeling it won’t be as I expect it to!

I thoroughly enjoyed this sequel to Lauren's story. I laughed and cried through the story feeling all the things right alongside her. I really enjoyed the plot line with the little bit of mystery aspect in it and then the plot twist at the end was very unexpected. I loved Ethan and his dynamic with Lauren. I was rooting for them from the get go! Cannot wait to read book 3 in the series!

This book was NOTHING like the first (hours of darkness) but it took off right where the first one leaves off. A whole new story line was going in this book and it was great to see Lauren’s life continue and grow in new ways.
There is suspense, romance, drama, and heart warming moments.
I’m excited to read the third book in this series once it is released
Definitely recommend to others

I enjoyed this book more than the first. I feel like maybe the author found her rhythm and it flowed better. Lauren seemed to blossom more in this book compared to hiding away in the first. I also enjoyed watching the relationship between her and Ethan have real ups and downs.

This book was sweet and exciting. I loved seeing Lauren’s journey after all of the struggles in the first book. My main complaint is that everything happens TO Lauren as opposed to her making things happen. I hope in the final book, Lauren’s character will have more of an impact on the story.

This book was even better than the first one! Molloy keeps you on your toes in the first half of the book as you try and figure out who Lauren will end up with. We get to see Lauren grow as an adult and learn to be more assertive about the type of life she wants. I loved the electric interactions and tension between her and the main love interest (don’t want to give anything away 😘). And for all you spicy lovers, Molloy’s second book has a 🌶️🌶️ spice rating in my opinion.

There were some surprising twists that were exciting and fun to read as well.

The ending of the book is so sweet, but leaves you anxious to read her third book! I can’t wait to see what happens next as we patiently await a wedding and see how things are resolved when conflict from Lauren’s past arises!!

Released day: 5/30.
This is a part two of a trilogy. The first part is Hours of Darkness.
One of my favorite quotes: "phoenix rising from the ashes"

Lauren came a very long way since the first book. Of course what she had been through someone can never forget, but as time goes by she figures how to come and of course the people in her life tend to always be there to support her. Lauren and Prescott issssss soooo cute but was very questionable.(Gotta read) That ending though!!!!! 😳😳. Lauren is a very strong female. For what she been through in the past and what she had to go through in this book!! I cannot wait to see what the next book had in store!!

I enjoyed this book more than the first. I was excited to see Lauren venture out into the world independently, with a job and an apartment to manage. The romance with Ethan is sweet, no spice here. Lauren is such a sweet person, always doing the 'right thing' and yet life seems to keep giving her huge challenges to overcome. The dialogue is still awkward for me.

I'm invested though! What challenges await Ethan and Lauren in the 3rd book? I hope she gets her happily ever after.

🌶️
This was the 2nd book in the trilogy and it was just as good as the 1st maybe even a little better. I sometimes find when reading a series that every book after the 1st just doesn’t measure up. I did not find that to be the case here. I loved how this story played out and can’t wait to read the 3rd and final book.
