Despite the massive information dump I got in this volume I’m still beyond confused as to what is happening here. Like I get the basic concept, but it just feels very flat.
The boys all have their magic now, but even more questions than answers. These two dragon groups seem to be fanatical and a lot of trouble, while also being the only source of the information the boys need as to the reason behind these attacks and why they are considered so rare. The group is rather annoyed by the focus on their magic in the news as well when all they really want is to succeed as Star One. Soule's mom, Lote, plays a much larger role than anyone knows as well, which could lead to even more trouble depending on how she chooses to play things. Hopefully it won't put the boys in even more danger. There's also something going on with these potions that seems to be shady given the ruminations on why DK may have refused them. Too many questions overall still, but an interesting world build.

I agree with other reviewers - this book is mostly world-building filler. The lore is interesting, and I do want to know more, but you gotta put some character growth in there, too. Aside from YJ's character finally manifesting and some stuff w/ SB's character's mom at the end, nothing else really develops for anyone. If I weren't a TXT fan, I'm not sure this installment would be enough to keep me reading. BUT since I am a MOA, and I do want to know what kind of story they're trying to tell, I'll grab the next one. Would still recommend for now!
This is bad, and not even in a fun way. I cannot tell half these boys apart, whyyyyy would you make the character designs so similar. 😅 The art and dialogue is very stilted and the attempts at world building are falling flat for me. Not sure if I’ll be able to push on much further.
The cover is gorgeous. The story is intriguing and I am invested but this volume was pretty slow. Mostly exposition with a few new "shocking" details and some foreshadowing.
Volume 2 continues with the boys balancing their new powers and the pressures of idol life and their gained fame. But Eugene hasn't really grasped his powers yet!
The star seekers storyline really is just quite okay. It feels very cliché and not very well written. I fear hybe webtoons peaked at save me and nothing will ever come close to that perfection
