Ciarán uncovers a flicker of hope in an unlikely a young, orphaned girl whose prophetic visions could guide them to victory. Though shadowy forces are converging – a relentless bishop with a penchant for hunting sorceresses and the Dragon’s own supernatural servants – all seeking to extinguish this last glimmer of light.

To protect her, Ciarán and his unlikely band of allies must embark on a perilous journey to the fabled city of Constantinople and beyond the known world, where the final conflict awaits.

Awesome

I just finished the last book in this trilogy. I was completely blown away by the whole series. The comradery, love and respect the characters had for one another shown throughout. The way Joseph Finley described their surroundings and the action, well let’s just say, I felt like I was there. But thankfully, I wasn’t; I don’t think I’m as brave as his characters. I highly recommend this series!

Truly Epic

This series was an amazing journey. The final book was non-stop action and adventure. I couldn’t wait for the next opportunity to open the pages. It teaches a whole new mythology, mixed on a familiar historical premise. Brilliant and descriptive.

I love a good trilogy. But usually the first books are the best, and the others can feel somewhat forced. Not the case with the Dragon-Myth trilogy! I honestly couldn't tell you which book was my favorite.

As with the first two in the series, true historical events and fantastical elements are woven together seamlessly. The depth of research that has gone into crafting this world is evident on every page, and the attention to detail is incredible. The descriptions of places and events are so vivid, it played out like a movie in my head while reading.

With epic trilogies, and especially in the historical fantasy genre, it can be difficult to keep characters, places, (and therefore storylines) straight between the more unusual names and sheer number. It's intimidating! I truly appreciate how "reminders" are sprinkled in as necessary, making it easier to follow along. I don't feel like I need to flip back and reread part to remember what happened.

Thank you for this incredible journey, Alais and Ciaran!
