Midnight Screening

Rate this book
In his youth Blake Powell was an actor, the handsome star of a dozen teen movies. Now in his forties, he still possesses the matinee idol good looks that made him a star back then. But movies and acting are all in the past, these days Blake is an acclaimed chef and restaurateur. Despite the success of his second career, his personal life is not so steady. His boyfriend Charlie is into drink, drugs and boys half his age. Blake has had enough.

The invitation to be guest of honour at a special screening of one of his movies is just what Blake needs: a short break away from Charlie. One of his early films The Burning Man has transcended its roots as a cheap horror film to become a cult favourite. Two decades later the film has reached a new audience of enthusiastic fans.

Twenty year old student Tim Aston is one of those fans. From the first time he saw the film, the naked image of screen hunk Blake has fuelled a million fantasies. Tim can't resist the opportunity. The late night screening will allow him to meet his idol at last.

Only Blake is not the same as the fresh faced hunk on screen. Older, smarter, sexier; Blake Powell is more handsome than ever. And Tim's fantasies are about to come true.

A scorching novella from the author of The Sex Cabaret and The Leather and the Flesh. Approximately 13K words.

CAUTION: contains explicit scenes of gay sex.

Short, Sexy and Steamy... my three favorite colors!

Blake Powell is a former actor turned Chef that is anything but lucky in love. After catching his live in boyfriend with some tweeked out twink, again, he decides to go to his movie screening alone. The Burning Man, a horror movie Blake made two decades ago, has become a cult classic and he’s off to a hotel for a screening, signing and meet and greet. He’s a little overwhelmed when everything is underway to see just how many fans he himself has, especially the young blonde in the front, that won’t stop staring at him.

Tim Aston has been a huge fan of Blake’s since he was a teen. And as he’s gotten older, Blake has starred in many a wet dream. Now Tim is going to get the chance to meet the man himself, Blake Powell, in real life. And the twenty year old student is even more smitten with the forty something older, sexier man than he was with the on screen younger version. At the end of the night Tim finds Blake in the hotel bar and decides to approach him, and try to make his fantasy a reality.

What a fast, fun, wild ride! I loved the whole movie star with that slightly unattainable edge to the story, coupled with the adorable younger man vying for his attentions. And lord almighty if these two don’t have some mutual chemistry that translates into passion and sensuality. If you’re looking for something sexy and quick to pass the time during lunch, or a naughty bedtime story, this is the perfect tale.

A hot short read. Blake escapes from his bad relationship by attending an anniversary celebration of a film that he'd starred in. Tim has been a fan of Blake's since he was in his early teens, he goes to the signing hopeful that he may meet Blake.

Tonnes of sex and a good storyline make for a good read.
