I just love cozy mysteries and I must admit that the one's taking place in Twilight Hollow have become some of my favourite ones to read. I really enjoy Addy's and Spooky, her familiar's spying, and the fact that these mysteries revolve around a coven of witches and a lovely heart warming cafe makes these even more exciting. Addy is a channeling witch as well as a necromancer, who seems to call trouble to her, and this time round the mystery involves disappearances of other channeling witches, dancing lights, and the disappearance of Spooky to top it all. This tale becomes very personal, as not only is Addy helping Logan, her detective friend, look into his family's disappearances but now the worry and angst is tripled as Addy goes crazy with the clock ticking to save Spooky. The tension runs high in this book because we all love Spooky, but Addy with great risk to her own safety manages to solve this mystery without the use of her necromantic powers, which she is often loathe to use. With the revelations about both Nicholas's and Logan's past lives cropping up in the end we are left with more questions than answers and not just about Addy's love life, so I am dying to read book 9.

These stories are absolutely delightful. This one is about Adelaide being roped in to help Logan find his missing aunt. She ropes in her sister and Nicholas since she has just arranged to go out with him.
Then Spooky goes missing too and she has to deal with all of that, while Nicholas is still hanging out and Logan is hanging out. She hasn't made a choice between them at all. Logan ends the book a little closer to finding out more about his bound powers, but is the aunt telling the truth? The book ends on a cliffhanger that is fun.
It's a great story, can't wait to find out more.

I have read 8 books in this series and am starting on number 9.

Thus is one of the best series I have read in a while. Just as you think all has been resolved, something else pops up and away we go into another adventure. I am really enjoying reading this series. I can hardly quit reading.

Really great series of books!

I really love this series! I think the characters are interesting and of course I absolutely love Spooky. I'm glad he has a kitty familiar to be friends with. Can't wait to see who Addy picks as a boyfriend. I want both of them to end up with the right person for them. Definitely read this series, you will not be sorry you did.

I was both surprised and not surprised to find out that Logan had such a dangerous and rare gift. I figured his parents wouldn't bind him without a good reason. I like that Addy is becoming more and more confident as she uses her abilities. This case was definitely interesting. I'm looking forward to whatever answers are coming in the next book.

Felt like a shed book

I read this in an afternoon.
I'm still not sure about the love triangle.
And I had a feeling about Logan's parents being part of the lights, but I'm glad some answers came for him.
