The current release date is a placeholder date which helps lessen my stress load as I continue to deal with the aftermath of Bell’s Palsy. I expect Hidden Treasures to release early this summer. I am working on the book now and will update both the blurb and release date in the next few weeks. Thank you. ~ Sherry

Solid 4½⭐! Another brilliant book in the Jerry McNeal series. An eclectic array of characters, both human and ghost, mysteries to solve, toss in a few laugh out loud moments and you have the perfect quick read. The books in this series are not long, but they sure do pack a decent punch.
This series just keeps getting better and better! This book begins with the contractor finding bones on the building site of Jerry, April and Max’s new home. As the story progresses, we find Max really coming into her own and helping spirits too. I can’t wait for the next book!
My, oh my. These keep getting better, and they were amazing from the first, They are short, but the next one will be out soon. Great things are happening. As I have stated before, I regularly chose books by their covers. This series is a case in point - German Shephard Gunter, is regularly on the cover and he plays an extremely important role in every book. Jerry McNeal and his interaction with the other characters is entertaining. There's bit of romance, and lots of mysteries to solve.
Jerry, his fiancée April, her daughter Max, and their two German Shepherds, Houdini (half spirit) and Gunter (spirit and Houdinis father) continue their adventures. Ms. Burton’s series is throughly entertaining as these five interact throughout the spirit world. Highly recommend and am looking forward to the next in this lively series!
Houdini is just doing what a good cadaver dog does; he dug up some bones. Now it's for certain that the house that Jerry, April and Max thought they'd be moving into as a family will not be built. They no sooner resolve that little bump in the road when things get a bit more complicated. They're on their way to Pennsylvania for a wedding. While on their way, they plan to stop and drop off the old family heirloom they'd previously bought at an estate sale. April had tracked down the would-be owners of said heirloom only to discover that the house of the couple they tracked down was haunted. Jerry tells them he can help them resolve the situation so they no longer feel they have to move because of a ghost problem. Jerry's path to "ghostbusting" their home takes a circuitous route and will probably make them late for the wedding. Max is a big help and tackles her own hurdles that help her mature and take more control of her own powers. The biggest surprise is in store for April and it could be a start of something big and very interesting for her. I really enjoyed this book. I was really surprised when I looked at my Kindle and discovered I was already at 95% finished. It went so fast! Now I've got to wait again to find out what happens in the world of Jerry, Gunter, April, Max, and Houdini. I'm not trying to be pushy, but I hope the author is a speedy writer.
Max, Jerry, and April are set to help the ghost sisters they found with the auction and quickly find themselves helping out quite a few more spirits along the way. April gets a lot of credit and so the ghosts decide to “bless” her with more capabilities. Max has her first individual win and the family has some set time as a team, but not with the other members such as Fred, Seltzer, Samantha, etc. Houdini shows he has his dad’s skills and the ghosts learn some tricks from Jerry and Max!
This is a fun and cute series. Love it and can’t wait for the next one.
Another great Sherry A Burton book. Jerry's family is gathering in size and not all are alive. His 'spirit fan club' is growing thanks to one spirit in particular who has notified the spectral equivalent to the internet, that Jerry will find anyone or thing they have lost since their own passing over. A quiet holiday with April, Max, Gunter and Houdini almost turns into a macabre 'where are they now' television program, and the two girls in Jerry's life have to help him out assisting with a few of the spirits themselves, if they are going to get a bit of earthly peace for the remainder of their holiday together.
Jerry and April are trying get their home built, but bones have been dug up causing delays. The spirit of a Indian boy was disturbed and the tribe was not happy. Jerry promised to put the bones back into his grave and plant trees where the ground was disturbed. Max got her dog certified to work with the DOD. Taking a couple of sister spirit to drop off a family heirloom, they help a family that has a ghost problem . All of Jerry's books are enjoyable and you will get hooked on them. BUT, just need to at least 400 Pages.
Mystery, Max and Houdini showing us what they can do. Becoming a team with Jerry and Gunter. Finding a way that Max's Mom can be part of it all!! Yes yes and yes! Suspense, fun, honoring the wishes of spirits of the Cippewa. Love Max's gift of her sketching! Couldn't wait for who we were going to meet next! Just WOW!
Enjoyed the book, Jerry is amazing as always. Max with Houdini is a wonder. Glad April is now able to help the Spirts. On the whole it is a great love story with special connections but leaving you wanting more. Wish it was a book not a novella. Sherry leaves us wanting more of this fascinating family dynamic and their place in our complicated world.
This is an entertaining, humorous, and intriguing series with a bit of suspense that will hook you from beginning to end. It's a definite must read book and series. I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.
Can't wait for more stories in this terrific series!
You have to love not only Jerry and Gunther but Max April and Houdini too. You never know what going to happen when you're trying to be nice. In their case more spirits that need help. Good clean fun read watching everyone grow and their abilities increase. Great job. Thank you this group always brightens my day.
I always enjoy the antics of Jerry and Gunther. Now he has a family, an unique family. The characters are becoming numerous with more and more people knowing about him. And not all of them are alive! Max and Houdini are an incredible addition to Jerry's family and will greatly expand the storyline. I can't wait for the next edition to come out.
This book series is full of humour, intrigue , romance and adventure.
The characters are endearing and after reading several of the book series have become old friends. In this book our paranormal investigators are helping two sister spirits bring a family heirloom back to family.
This was maybe one of those stories that don't know what links to follow. Or what pieces to finish. We do have mom and daughter showing more of their gifts but that's not really finishing some important story lines. Well maybe in the next book which is the last one will help put things together...
Heading toward vacation, they run into a snafu with their property where Jerry was planning on building a dream home for his fiance and her daughter. The bones end up being Native American and he ends up buying new land for their home and returning the land with bones on it to it's previous condition. April is learning her new talent and becoming part of the team.
I have so far I have read every book that is available in this series and have enjoyed each and everyone! Looking so forward to reading book 17 in the series when it is available
The progress of the whole family continues, working together as a well oiled team. April finds her gift and purpose in the family dynamic. Once again we look in on the psychic adventures of this crazy gifted family. Its a fast fascinating read.
This was a real feel good story. Finished it in 3 hrs. What I liked is that Jerry is growing with his skills, and I loved the variety of stories. I knew what the turtle was about and I recognized the antique shop from Sherry's travel photos she posted on FB.
I want to thank Sherry Burton for sharing these stories with us. I look forward to the next adventure of Gunter and Houdini. This would really be fun to watch as a movie or TV series!!
What a delightful tale and adventure McNeil gets himself into and he brings you along for the ride. Can't wait for the next book, they just don't seem long enough to me. Love the whole series. Thank you
I've followed this series from the beginning, but sadly I think this will be the last installment I read. While I love the back stories of the spirits, love the dogs, and most of the other characters, I can't stand Max and April.
Along with the spirits, Linda and Elke, April finds Ben and Nicole Krafft to give the keepsake to but Jerry and Max get involved because of other spirits. Great story, entertaining.
I love this whole series of books!!!!! I read them in one day and then start looking forward to the next one coming out! I’m so invested in the characters … it’s like they’re long lost friends! Can’t wait to see what happens next! Thank you, Sherry!!! I appreciate you and your talent!!!
I always love this kind of book. Please keep them comming!😁
I love any story that a dog or dogs are in it. Our own dog is not able to fade out and then show up some place else. But he is the heart of our family!
Loved this series. Just feel like telling Sherry a big Thank You for writing stories that were delightful and you looked forward to the next chapter. Lots of smiles and feeling like you knew the people And places that were being written about. Thank you.
They promised to get a Sampler to a the sisters' descendent!
Following up on a promise Jerry, April, and Max take a side trip which becomes more ambitious than they expected! After they help several ghosts, April gets a new sideline helping lots of ghosts!
Not the turn of events I was hoping for, but I do love the dogs. This story has a few loose ends, so I hope that means many more books to come. Thanks for sharing Jerry’s story with the reading world.
Jerry, April, and Max investigate when Houdini discovers a skeleton on the land where they are planning to build their new house. The police investigation delays their building schedule and then the spirits get involved. A great story.
A cute story reads easy and fast. A nice book to read after some heavy drama reading. Jerry , April and Max make for concentric storylines. Various ghost, pardon, Spirits add color and humor to the story.
