Servants of Shay #3

Luna Unleashed

Rate this book
Ezra brings the hunters. I bring the wolves. Together, we must stop the darkness that Kiara has foreseen in her visions.

Tensions are high, however. Hunters hate wolves, and wolves hate hunters. I want us to put our differences aside for the greater good, but that’s easier said than done. Especially when a certain wolf can’t set his own ego aside.

A part of me thinks this is never going to work.

Ezra is acting strange, and I’m worried about what his “medicine” is doing to him. If it didn’t come from a healer, where did he get it? And why is he being so secretive?

The end of the world is coming, but all I can think about is whether our love will survive. I don’t even know if we’re going to make it that far. Will the wolves and hunters tear each other apart before we can reach the source of this evil?

Game on … there will be a price to pay

They say to keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Trouble is, how to know who the enemy is. And so it begins. Not only do Yaz and Ezra have their personal war of getting accepted by both, his gang of hunters and her wolf pack, but a darkness is moving quickly to obliterate them all.

The question is, how? Who, or should I say What, is bringing the dark. A war is about to ensue, a war between good and evil, with Ezra playing a starring role. Little did he know what his actions would bring. He trusted the wrong ‘friend’…. and the darkness is about to be unleashed.

The million dollar question: can it be stopped? If so, how …and will Ezra get the opportunity to redeem himself? Yaz refuses to give up. Will she be the light to obliterate the dark? Never forget that a tiny bit of light dispels the dark.

Now that the battle is set and secrets revealed, all we need is to see how the light moves. For when a tiny speck of light enters, the darkness is gone. Good will be honored and bad will be judged. I look forward to see just how Yaz and Ezra will plot, scheme and battle for the victory. Will Rand be involved? What happens between him and Ezra? Does James have perfect timing again and save the day? And how about that Giant? Will he make an appearance? Ahhhh, looking forward to the next book in this series. ✩✩✩✰ 4 1/2 stars

🤔 OBSERVATIONS

✒︎ Shilo is a tricky guy. I look forward to see his downfall.

✒︎ Lara needs taught a lesson or two and so does Ezra’s mother and sister.

✒︎ Griff, Lara not any of the hunters can blame Ezra when they themselves accepted Shilo as one of their own knowing about his bloodline.

✒︎ Appreciate the lack of foul language.

✒︎ Skipping the intimate scenes won’t make you lose any of the main storyline.

Excellent continuation of this tale!

Once again, we’re with Ezra and Yaz. The task these two face this time seems truly insurmountable. They have been tasked with getting the Hunters and the Wolves to work together to defeat the evil that is about to overcome their world. Not to mention, this story deals with addiction as well and the problems this creates, not only to the person addicted, but to those around them as well. I truly appreciate everything that Ava King is accomplishing with the Servants of Shay series. I cannot recommend this series highly enough and can’t wait to read the next installment!

Servants of Shay, book 3

A shifter/hunter romance, with drama, angst, addiction, misunderstandings, love and forgiveness.

Ezra and Yaz have been given an impossible challenge, to get the Hunters and Wolves to work together to defeat a greater evil. But can peace be found between the two groups for them to be able to work together and for how long can it be kept?

At the same time Yaz is worrying about Ezra who is beginning to act oddly and she worries about the medicine he's started to take regularly, and who gave it to him. Are they trusting the right people?

Kiara's visions have predicted the world's end as they know it. What happens when the hunters and the wolves have to join forces to work against the evil that is trying to take over and cause the end? What "medicine" does Ezra start taking and why? What is it for, and what does it do to him? Does he show up when a giant is needed, or is he just unwanted? How do the two groups do about trying to join forces and defeat a common enemy? This story once again kept me from putting the book down, but I've found that I enjoy reading Ms. King's stories quite a bit. Enjoy the read!
