281 books1,033 followersNisio Isin (西尾維新 Nishio Ishin), frequently written as NisiOisiN to emphasize that his pen name is a palindrome, is a Japanese novelist and manga writer. He attended and left Ritsumeikan University without graduating. In 2002, he debuted with the novel Kubikiri Cycle, which earned him the 23rd Mephisto Award at twenty years of age.
He currently works with Kodansha on Pandora, the Kodansha Box magazine, and Faust, a literary magazine containing the works of other young authors who similarly take influence from light novels and otaku culture. He was also publishing a twelve volume series over twelve months for the Kodansha Box line; Ryusui Seiryoin was matching this output, and the Kodansha Box website stated that this is the first time in the world two authors have done twelve volume monthly novel series simultaneously from the same publisher.
In February, 2008, his novel Death Note Another Note: The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases was released in English by Viz Media. Del Rey Manga has already released the first volume in his Zaregoto series. His Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari and Katanagatari novels have been adapted into anime series. Nekomonogatari (Kuro) has been adapted into an anime TV movie, and Kizumonogatari will be release in theaters this year. Monogatari Series: Second Season, adapted from 6 books in Monogatari Series will air in July 2013. Another of his works, Medaka Box (manga), has been adapted into a two-season anime series.

FINAL VOLUME OMG I'M FINALLY FREE

Bakemonogatari tome vingt-deux ou le tome qui ne sert à rien. Voilà, tout est dit. J’avais tout de même un léger espoir que ce dernier tome apporte quelque chose à la saga, redore un peu le blason de notre héros et de l’intrigue. RIEN. RIEN DE RIEN. Je trouve limite honteux d’ailleurs d’avoir osé sortir ce tome.
Alors que l’idée de base pouvait être pas mal. C’est-à-dire que chacune des filles que Araragi a sauvées se voit attribuer un chapitre qui nous donne une conclusion à son histoire. Sympa, non ? Une sorte de grand épilogue ! Oui, mais Nisioisin a visiblement un petit souci… c’est-à-dire que chaque chapitre se finit par des scènes sexuelles avec des gamines et même les sœurs du héros ! Ouais, on adore, vraiment… ce n’est pas du tout dérangeant comme délire.
La conscience du héros va même à la surnommer pédo crado… on est censé trouver ça drôle, dites-moi ? C’est une sorte de mea culpa ? Là encore, c’est juste non.
Je n’arrive pas à comprendre comment avec une intrigue aussi sympa, un héros qui avait du potentiel, on en arrive là. On rappelle aussi que le manga est classé shonen quand même… Il aurait eu un autre classement, j’aurais été un chouia moins violente dans ma réaction, mais là… c’est une blague.
Alors que j’avais beaucoup aimé cet anti-héros au complexe du héros, un jeune qui se cherche et qui ne trouve d’intérêt à la vie qu’en aidant les autres, comme une pulsion incontrôlable. Des chimères, monstres terrifiants qui sont le reflet de notre noirceur… une intrigue qui avait un tel potentiel. Kiss-Shot, notre reine vampire, qui avait du mordant… et j’en passe. Tellement, mais tellement d’éléments super. Pour finir par nous vendre ça…
Donc, sans surprise, on va regrouper les tomes de Bakemonogatari, et vendre la saga pour oublier tout cela et passer à autre chose.

Art got considerably worse. It's still excellent, don't get me wrong, but you can literally see frames copied from the previous volumes (not for retrospection).
The ending is disappointing, a few pages of maudlin nothing. But then... the straight-up paedo fan service. If somehow you went through questionable scenes in previous volumes, you might want to gauge your eyeballs out. At least I wanted. I absolutely regret every minute of time spent with this series, and I didn't finish the last volume. It ruined a worsening experience.
Edit: I kept reading through the series, because the initial volumes were excellent, and I enjoyed OVAs. I should've sticked to those.

La série est terminée et j'ai l'impression d'avoir riennnnn pigé aux trucs. Mais par contre dans ce tome là lhypersexualisation des gamines c'est NOWAY omg !

Ich hoffe so sehr, dass weitere Manga Adaptionen veröffentlicht werden. Der Manga hat mir viel besser gefallen, wie der Anime :(
