This book us for beginners. It's a red level book which uses familiar topics for children, yet repetitive words and /or sentences. I thought this was a cute story for a young child; it shows growth and friendship.

Max Stays Overnight is wonderful. A Read-it reader, the book is intended for early readers. The topic is one children can relate too and with it's colorful illustrations children will enjoy hearing and reading this sweet book. I especially like that the characters are two little boys.
