In Be Courageous by Rebecca Hartt, you receive three amazing novellas that contain danger, suspense, love and the faith of God needed to not only survive but also to thrive. There are all stand-alone but have appearance or small connections to the other books in the Acts of Valor Series.

The first in the anthology is my favorite, Be With Me. Faith Saunders, a widowed mother of three, has lost her husband in the line of duty. She has found a friendship with FBI Supervisory Agent Casey Fitzpatrick but her oldest son, Grayson is still overwhelmed by the lost. Making an unwise decision puts him in danger. The reader witnesses the kidnapping and the search for Grayson. However, what gripped my heart the most is the scenes of Grayson during this time. God uses this young man to change lives for the better. It moved me to tears.

The second novella, Be Not Afraid, is a story of a journalists who pursues a dangerous story. Overprotective husband and her own recklessness bring danger and suspense but also growth in the characters. Love and forgiveness follow as God guides for truth to be told.

The last novella is Be Still, which involves the US Witness Protection Program. Being Still does not refer so much to the government protection as it does trusting in the Lord. I liked this story and the characters. The sister of one of the main characters is such a compelling mysterious character that I can hardly wait for her story to be told.

In Be Courageous are three gripping reads that are entertaining as well as inspiring. You can’t go wrong with a Rebecca Hartt story. I can say if you are a fan of Susan May Warren, Lisa Phillips or Irene Hanon you will not only like but love this author and her new book, Be Courageous.

I have read all of the novels in the Acts of Valor series, each of which was high-tension action, drama, and suspense. The novellas in this box set follow on the books I have read and are no less suspenseful than the rest. Faced with the disappearance of her rebellious son in “Be With Me”, to the fear that turns Tony's world upset down when his journalist wife is abducted in “Be Not Afraid”, and then McKenzie's dread as she is hunted down in “Be Still”, I found myself sitting on the edge of my chair. Whether the novels are long or short, Rebecca Hartt always delivers. I received a copy of this well-written box set as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

final act is great

Rebecca Hartt does a great job of looping threads of several stories together in an entertaining way that compels the reader to stay through the end waiting for completion. Few authors really tie things together so that there is a satisfied conclusion that leaves you content to close the door. Hartt is a master of that talent, and I look forward to more series from her. Be Courageous is a great final ending that ties up three story lines that would have left us with a hole that, fortunately was well closed.

Awesome conclusion to this great series. I loved all 3 stories, but especially Mackenzie and Miles, as they finally got back together after her stunt in WITSEC. I was hoping the author wouldn't leave them up in the air

The other two stores were awesome too. Was cool to read more about Tony and Ruby
