Peek-a-Boo

Rate this book
Its the first game that every baby learns to play, and this delightful book has peek-a-boo flaps on every one of its big, full-color illustrations. Lower the flap, and see a friendly animals face! With a little help from Mom or Dad, baby can play peek-a-boo with a cat, a dog, a cow, a hen, a pig, a duck, and a lamb. A surprise appears at the very end of the book in the form of a little boy who holds a teddy bear up to hide his face. But when baby lowers this flap, a mirror is uncovered. Baby is looking at his own laughing face!

Peek-A-Boo is a good book for young children. It has colorful pages and interactive pieces like flaps you can lift and pull. This book would be good for children who are just being introduced to books.

My son loves this!!! He likes to make the animal sounds and I'll ask him to find the.... (Animal) on the last page, where he gleefully yells, "there it is!!"

This is a cute lift-the-flap book that features different animals on each page, and the last page features a baby covering its face, and when the flap is opened, there is a "mirror" so baby or toddler can see his or her own face. Young children will have fun naming the animals. I used this for a cat-themed Spanish story time program.
