I have never read a book before that I had questioned why and how did it get published until I read this really bad murder mystery.
Sadly, it is no mystery at all. But the thing that bothered me most was the writing style. I simply could not believe that a real author could write so badly yet get her book published. Sorry, but Fiona Grace is simply one of the worst writers I have ever read.
I won’t waste any more of my time reviewing this mystery on Magnolia Bay.
A Masked Murder was a fun and exciting mystery. Practically, the whole town attended the masked ball. A painter was the guest speaker, but one with a large ego. He didn't make the speech and was found dead. The plot kept me guessing who the murderer could be. There were many suspects, as the painter pretty much offended most of the townspeople. While questioning different suspects, the suspects' answers were quirky and led to a dead end.
The book's ending wrapped up everything nicely, and the murderer was a surprise. You'll have to read this one and see if you can discover who it is!
I enjoyed this book. The characters are quirky, nosy, and fun to read about. The plot is easily followed, and the premise is finding out who killed the obnoxious painter with a way too big ego, and why. The answers were as weird as any answer for murder can be. I definitely recommend this book.
It struck me as odd that when the body was found, the first action of the event organisers was to tell everyone to go home. Logic says that one of the guests would be the murderer and by getting rid of the guests, the organisers were obstructing the investigation.
Gracss series has a great setting and interesting characters this woman can turn out a cozy mystery . This rating may be higher as I get more famj?ist with this sefies.
Wish I hadn’t wasted my time. Simplistic plot, silly characters and unrefined writing style. May be fine for young readers but I will not be reading any more of this series.
Like the speedboat ride over the water, this story took us for quite a ride! finding out, "who done it", was a real surprise. This was one very exciting mystery!!!!!
Storyline was bland. The dialogue was unnatural. The ebook had lots of typos and spelling errors. It’s the first book I’ve ever considered not finishing. Will not read any others in the series.
