He’s always been straight, so imagine his surprise when he finds himself attracted to the veterinarian and his husband…
Jaxon
When I lost my wife to cancer, I thought my life would forever be in shambles. I didn’t know how to be a parent without her. I didn’t know how to be a functioning adult without her.
Somehow, I managed it. I healed. I moved on.
Moving to Gainesville, FL to be closer to my son and his boyfriends, who were basically my own kids, too, was an easy decision. But it’s that “easy” decision that flips my entire world upside down.
When I take Ash, the tiny little kitten I found in my overgrown backyard, to the vet, I don’t expect to be attracted to the younger blonde veterinarian. I don’t know what to do when my body reacts to his teasing and flirting. I’ve always been straight.
And when his husband pops into the office, surprising him with lunch, I find I’m just as attracted to him, too. I begin crashing. I’m forty-three-years old. I’m way too old to be having a bi-awakening or some strange gay-for-them moment.
But I am. I am 100% having an identity crisis at forty-three.
And the hot veterinarian and his husband? Yeah, they’re not letting me escape. They want me. And they’re determined to make me theirs by any means necessary.
**Please read the author’s note at the beginning of the book before deciding to read! Thanks!
West Greene is a romance author that specializes in short, steamy books and erotic shorts.
All your instalove needs can be found in one of her books, whether you're looking for possessive men, men with no morals, spicy FF romance, a boy just needing his Daddy, a twink just needing love, or even the other woman to get her HEA.
West Greene refuses to be stuck in one trope or type of romance. She loves variety, and she's definitely going to share that variety with her readers.
Overall book rating: 3 Audio Book: N/A Book Cover: 3.5
So, if this was more fleshed out, it would have most probably be very good. It really had some good bits that could have been build on with a little (lot) more depth, the potential was there.
My first West Greene. I have a thing for well done MMM. So I decided to take a chance when the cover popped up.
It was hot. It was entertaining. It was not believable at all and OH.. the DRAMA (Insert THREE Drama Lamas, or make that Six) I'm still wincing on behalf of Jaxon's liver.
I read the authors bio afterwards and I respect the fact that she does short reads. It just always makes me a bit out of sorts when I see potential in a story that doesn't come to full use.
I feel for the length of this story, there was way to much going on all over the place and the character background was WAY heavy for something that you don't put more detail into. Maybe a mention would have been better instead of diving into the "situations" but also not? Just me again I guess.
Short and VERY fast pace. Entertaining but greatly unrealistic.
4 stars I truly love Jaxon: he's one of the best character in the MM romance. He's strong, kind, determined, he loves hard, he supported his son with his sexuality, he fought his bullies and he took great care of him when his mom died. His support never wavered, not even when Spencer started a relationship with two other guys. On the contrary, he welcomed those guys in his home and when a horrible thing happened, he loved Logan even more harder and saved his life.
His attraction to both Zep and Eros is a little sudden, but this is a common trait in West Greene's books: love, attraction and connection come always quite soon in the story, so I didn't mind it.
Zep, tattoo arstist and Eros, veterinarian, are married, but since the start of their relationship, Eros, who's poly, always wanted to add a third. They haven't find the right man yet, because Eros doesn't want just another person in his bed, he craves someone who can love them both. Jaxon seems to be the first man who can draw his husband's attention and Zep doesn't hesitate to come strong on Jax to have a relationship with them.
Zep is amazing but he's also a very complicated man who's still dealing with a very horrible and painful past. I don't want to label him as a red flag, because he genuinely loves both Eros and Jaxon, but his behaviour is strongly affected by what he went through and he doesn't work as hard as he should with his therapist. He will end up making a big mistake toward a man who gave him everything and who didn't deserve his wrath. I'm not usually fond of the third act break up, but it was very necessary here and the author handled it beautifully.
I really really adore Logan's relationship with Jaxon. I already said that when I reviewed Nerdy Boy, when they got close and Jax became a real father to Logan. Now it's Logan's turn to be protective and caring toward Jaxon and, despite that being a hard time for all the men involved, I loved every second of it.
What prevented me from giving a higher rate: Jaxon's bi awakening and grief about the death of his beloved wife and Zep's struggles take a big space in this story. I felt like Eros' didn't have the same attention: he's wonderful, his feelings for Zep are strong and his new relationship with Jax is tender and passionate, but I would have liked to know more about him too. Zep's behaviour, like I said, almost makes him a giant red flag.
The physical scenes are obviously very very steamy, but what I loved the most was the fact that, despite Zep is always in control, their dynamic is always very balanced and the other men are not a toy for him to play with.
I'm so glad that Spencer, Ezra and Logan are very involved in this story because I love them and it's so beautiful to see them still in love after years since the end of their book.
I don't know if we'll get to see them all again, if the author is planning another book, but I strongly hope so! I don't want to say goodbye at all.
I received an ARC of this book from Booksprout and this is my honest review.
On one hand, I want to give this book a 4 stars, Solely because I ate it up. When I tell you I read this in literal hours and not 24 mind you. More like 4. I was hooked; from the moment I picked it up, even tho I had shit to do, I was thinking about this!!
But on the other hand I’ll give it a 3 stars bc the relationship development was TOLD to me and not SHOWED to me. It feels like I blinked and then the author went from “we want him to be our third” to “We love him”.. can someone say whiplash?? Because the author even made mention of dates and time spent together I wasn’t Privy too and I’m not saying I have to be involved in all the process ( I’m well aware I’m reading a book and there is only so much that can be on page) but the approach the author used in writing that particular development in the story didn’t give.
Also there was so much focus on Zeph relationship with Jax and Zeph relationship with Eros to the point where there was hardly space for Eros and Jax to have any conversation outside of sexual intimacy. I mean we literally went from Zeph wanting a third in him and Eros’s relationship just to please Eros to him taking over the relationship with Jaxon when they both realized they liked him.
And I’m not one to expect love in poly relationship to manifest identically (Call me cynical but I just don’t think you can love two or more people the same way) but this read like one relationship was favored more than it being a steady flow of three of them together.
This book is a part of the More Than Two series and focuses on Jaxon, Eros, and Zep. Jaxon lost his wife a few years prior so he decided to move closer to his son and his boyfriends. After he moves, he meets Eros and Zep and discovers that he is not as straight as he always thought he was. I really enjoyed the three of them together and am so glad that Jaxon was able to get a second chance at happiness with Eros and Zep. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

This was emotional and heartbreaking, it had darkness and trauma but also humour, family (both blood and found), steam and redemption. Definitely check the trigger Warnings.
Jaxon is the best character, he is strong, kind, caring, loving and accepting. We meet him in Nerdy Boy, where he supports his son, Spencer, as Spencer navigates his developing relationship with Logan and Ezra and Jaxon also takes on Logan and Ezra as his own. While Give Me Three can be read as a standalone, I definitely recommend reading Nerd Boy, aa it is also such a great story and it does provide the back story to Jaxon, Spencer, Logan and Ezra.
It made me so happy, seeing Jaxon get his second chance with Eros and Zep, even if it is not smooth sailing. While Eros and Zep are happy together, they always knew they wanted to bring the right man as a third into their relationship, and when they meet Jaxon, they know he is the one but they all need to navigate their way through challenges to make it happen.
I also loved Ash the kitten who helped to bring them all together.

Yup, Jaxon is definitely still a saint to me. The man is absolutely the BEST. Since losing his wife he has focused solely on work and his kids until meeting Eros and Zeppelin. They opened Jaxon’s eyes in more ways then one. And of course I still love Logan more than anything especially with how protective he is of his men and Jax. I’m looking forward to Shane’s book next. 🖤🔥🐱🔥🖤
My favorite quotes:
• Logan: “Okay… Is this we-need-to-hide-a-body help or I’m-having-another-midlife-crisis help?” Logan asked.
• Zeppelin: He had bled for me. He had hurt for me. In more ways than one. And still, he was here. Still wanted me. Still wanted to be with me.
• Eros: This—this right here was everything I’d ever wanted when I told Zeppelin I wanted to add a third man to our marriage. I wanted someone for Zeppelin, too. Someone who could quiet the darkness in his mind in a way I couldn’t.
• Jaxon: With Zeppelin and Eros, I could just be. There was no pressure riding on my shoulders. I could finally relax and breathe and just enjoy life.
Why choose indeed. That is a very good question. Not only about how many partners to have but also their gender. Why choose when you should quite simply follow your heart (and maybe what your gut, possibly your brain too) is telling you.
The prologue had me close to tears. It was incredibly moving and it set the scene, not for the tone of the novel which is, for the most part upbeat, but for the circumstances in which we find Jaxon it all fits. He lost his wife of 20 years, his son lost a mother. They healed and managed to move on. Fast forward to the point that they have moved on to, they are living in Gainesville. Well Jaxon has just moved but his son and two boyfriends are already there. That is the reason for the move, for Jaxon to be close to the three of them, they are after all all his kids as he sees it!
Settling in is hard. Then Jaxon finds a tiny kitten in his garden and well, she makes settling in easier, it is the incredibly hot vet and his equally incredibly hot husband who make it a little more challenging. It seems that Eros and Zep, the vet and his tattoo artist husband, are looking for a third, by mutual agreement. They haven't yet found anyone who has won Zep over. Until now. The attraction is instant. The men know what they want and it is Jaxon. The problem is that Jaxon is convinced he is straight, despite his reaction to the two men. That is just one hurdle to overcome and it happens more easily than, well than Jaxon expected. His son and boyfriends have no problem with it, in fact Logan (one of them) is a sometimes, helpful confidant.
The other hurdle, a big one, is Zep's struggles with his past and some of them are quite disturbing. Please be careful if you feel that any of this could be triggering. Some of it is very challenging but the way in which West Greene deals with it, presents it, helps his characters work through it, is perfect. He does not shy away from the issue, he shows the reader the depth of both Jaxon and Zep's issues and the effect it has on them but he also shows us how they learn to cope, how they know that they will have one another. It is painful but incredibly beautiful and it spoke directly to my heart.
Give Me Three is a keeper, these men are keepers. Thank you West Greene for bringing them to life, scars and all. I was hooked and nearly made myself late for work by being too engrossed!
Give me Three is a compelling and heartfelt MM romance that dives into the complexities of identity, healing, and the unexpected nature of love. The story follows Jaxon, a man who thought he had moved on after the loss of his wife, only to find himself suddenly navigating a complicated attraction to two men—an unexpected turn for a man who has always considered himself straight.
When Jaxon moves to Gainesville, FL, to be closer to his son, he doesn’t anticipate that a simple visit to the vet with a kitten would throw his entire world into upheaval. The young, flirtatious veterinarian, along with his charming husband, both spark an attraction that Jaxon is unprepared for. At 43, Jaxon is forced to confront his own feelings of confusion and desire as he grapples with a bi-awakening that shakes his very sense of self.
What makes Give me Three stand out is its exploration of self-discovery and the emotional complexity that comes with challenging long-held beliefs about identity. Jaxon’s journey is one of personal growth as he faces the daunting reality of falling for both a man and his husband. The author does an excellent job of showing Jaxon’s inner turmoil, especially as he tries to reconcile his grief over his wife’s death with the overwhelming new feelings he experiences for Ash and Liam.
The chemistry between Jaxon, Ash, and Liam is electric, and the way the two men—already in a committed relationship—work to bring Jaxon into their dynamic is both tender and playful. Their pursuit of him isn’t just about physical attraction; it’s about emotional connection and helping Jaxon understand that love and desire can be more fluid than he ever thought possible. The romance develops slowly but steadily, making the eventual bond between the three characters feel authentic and earned.
The book expertly balances emotional depth with steamy moments, while the humor and lightheartedness of Ash and Liam provide a sense of warmth amidst Jaxon’s internal conflict. The exploration of loss, healing, and the possibility of new love is poignant and relatable, making Awakened an emotionally satisfying read for fans of MM romance who enjoy stories about growth, second chances, and embracing the unexpected.
'I was straight. Had always been straight. And obviously, I had nothing against being gay considering my son was in a relationship with two other men, but was I suddenly having some bi-awakening moment at the age of forty-f-ing-three? I was a little old for that, wasn’t I?'
I loved this book. I always love a bi-awakening romance and really enjoyed how this one was handled. Jaxon was open-minded, but his attraction to vet Eros and his husband Zeppelin came as a complete surprise to him. And both men had no problem flirting with Jax. I also liked that this was a gay-for-you trope as Jax even went so far as to visit a gay bar and was attracted to no one despite getting attention. The chemistry between Jax, Eros, and Zep was hot and I couldn't wait to see where this would go between them. Zeppelin's past was a surprise and broke my heart. I wanted to protect him so much from the moment I learned of it.
I also really liked scenes with Jax's son and his boyfriends. I also liked the dreams Penelope- pushing him to take a chance- even if it contributed to Jax's stress and lack of sleep.
a brillaint second book in the series Wow it was so good to read about Seb, Ezra and bad boy Logan! But this one is about Seb’s dad Jaxon. Jaxon moved to be closer to his biological son Seb and his sons in laws Ezra and Logan. On his first morning in his new home he found a tiny tiny kitten. Knowing the kitten he named Ash needed help he found the nearest vets and came face to face with a good looking vet called Eros. And it wasn’t long until Jaxon thought he was flirting with him. But Jaxon had always been straight, he had been with his wife for 20 years and never looked or felt anything for a man before. And then to make it even more confusing Eros’s husband Zeppelin was flirting with Jaxon too. What would be come of this??? I couldn’t put this book down a brilliant read. It is ful of passion, chemistry and connection but I found this book to be really emotional to see how Zeppelin struggled to heal over his past. I am super excited for the next book although we don’t really know much about Shane. Exciting !.

3.5 stars from me. This book describes the story of Jackson, Eros, and Zeppelin. The story idea is good, but something in the writing missed the mark for me. The story begins with an immediate attraction between the three men, but Jackson resists joining the couple because he considers himself straight and too old (despite being only 43), and then he simply gives in and decides to join. The problem is that the strong emotional connection described in the book didn't come across to me. I couldn't understand at what point it transformed from attraction to a crazy love that could crush you from within. The story has strong hurt/comfort elements and includes triggers for human trafficking, self-destruction behavior, and descriptions of rape experiences (important to note this). Also, the repeated mention of Jackson's age became annoying at some point, while the age of the other characters wasn't mentioned at all. I have to say, the sex scenes were great and steamy.

I fell into this story without having read 'Nerdy Boy'. I feel that was not a problem, but I will sure pick that one up to get all the details since those boys are all over the sidelines of thia story. Getting back to 'Give me Three', this is a high heat, take no prisoners, fall for you both MMM love story. For me it had almost all. Three very different character types as leads, with an overall vibe oftake life by the b*lls and go for the relationship you want and need to be whole (again). I love that Jaxon, is quickly came to terms, with a little help of his deceased wife, that he wants and needs who he does. Zep(pelin) holding on and be in control to what he got and fighting for more after a traumatuc first part of his life. Eros being the gentle one and bossy when he wants and needs to be. I wish I had a bit more backstory about him. Also special mention to fury kitten Ash without whom all these men would never had met.

This was my first book by West Greene. I enjoyed getting to know the MCs however I just felt like the story was a bit rushed. Some of the characters seemed well thought out and others I just wanted more from, wanted to know more of them. If you enjoy twisty, dark and a little unhinged MC this one might be for you.
Tropes: • Age Gap • Possessive MC • Hurt/Comfort • HEA
Cheating: Third-act breakup: POV: Triple POV (First Person POV) I received an advance review copy from Booksprout, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I've never read a more beautiful book about three men finding each other and falling in love. Jaxon's wife passed away about 3 years ago, his son Spencer is living with his 2 male fiancés and the relationship Jaxon has with the 3 of them is amazing, he loves all 3 and supports them in their individual ways. Jaxon accepted his son's poly relationship with two men but when he finds himself attracted to two men who are married to each other he doesn't understand his own reactions. Eros and Zep are very much in love but they always knew they would invite a third man into their relationship some point, they just never expected to both love Jaxon as much as each other, he completes them both and was made to be with them. The journey isn't straightforward but it's beautiful to read.

Loved this story! Just loved everything about it. Loved that not only did Jaxon get another chance at having two great loves in his life, but that he got to have a similar relationship to that which made his son Spencer so happy in the previous book. Also, getting to see Logan, Spencer and Ezra again made me smile too. The awakening that Jax goes through and the way it's brow beat into him to accept these two men into his life was pretty funny. Imagine being haunted by your own wife. I also loved that while he was a strong Alpha, when he was with Zep and Eros that he could submit to them both and still feel loved and safe. While we only got a brief glance at Shane in this book, I'm looking forward to reading his story next.

I loved Give Me Three by West Greene. It's the fourth book in the More Than Two series. I loved Eros, Jaxon, and Zepplin's story. I loved that Jason had such a great support system in his kids and that they were there for him as he had his midlife crisis after discovering his new attraction to two guys. Luckily, he had his son's poly relationship as a great reference. I was glad to see that Zepplin was getting better at how he coped after his therapy sessions. And I loved that Logan and Zepplin were basically BFFs by the end of the story. There were so many hot scenes. I can't wait to go back and see if Logan, Ezra, and Jason's son, Spencer, have a book. I fell in love with all three of them and wanted to see how they got together.

This is Jaxon’s story who is Spencer’s dad from book three and I really liked him in that story he was such a caring person and he automatically supported Spencer in his relationship with Ezra and Logan and cared and supported all three of them especially Logan after he got hurt, so it was nice to see him get his own second chance at happiness and I really enjoyed watching the relationship form between Jaxon , zep and Eros and it was good to see how he cared for and supported both men especially Zep they do have a few bumps in the road along the way but eventually get their hea. Looking forward to reading more from this author and series in the future.
So fucking good! I read this in one sitting because I just could not put it down. I don't typically love the third act break ups, but the way West writes them, it makes you want to hang on and find out what's going to happen next because you know there will be a HEA in the end. This story was so raw, emotional, hot, heartbreaking, and everything in between. This is a book I would recommend 100x over.
This is a standalone, but I definitely recommend reading Nerd Boy first, because you get characters and back story from Nerd Boy in this story, and it'll make more sense. As always, read your triggers🤍
Another winner from West. I really think that if you want a poly storyline you can't get better. I absolutely loved the characters who were all so different , together they completed each other to make a perfect relationship. Their stories are not all rosy though, plenty of angst and emotional trauma had to be overcome to get where they are. Such a beautifully written storyline. Oh and great to see how some of the previous characters are getting on!.

▪️I realize Zep is working through trauma from his childhood but the scene with lack of consent and the other with no prep were a couple things that affected my overall like for the story. I appreciate both being addressed with his therapist.

Is Three the Key? Jaxon is starting over, again, in Gainesville, when a chance encounter with Zep and Eros has him rethinking his straight self. Zep and Eros come on STRONG - the interactions between these two (they’re married) are a steamy start, and adding Jaxon cranks up the heat. This story is both light and dark, and a great accompaniment to Nerdy Boy (Jaxon’s son Spencer’s story). A great read.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I liked Jaxon and how he adopted Ash. When Eros and Zep see him, they want him as their third. I liked how past trauma was handled and how Jaxon's dead wife was determined he would be happy. I'm glad Jaxon gave Eros and Zep a chance and found love with them.
This story was so good! I loved the characters so much. There was some really nice character development as the story progressed, and the banter was everything! I also love a good why choose, but I loved how this one was MMM. The way the writing made the story so easy to get into was the best!
Thanks so much to the author and booksprout for the ARC!
I fell in love with Jaxon in Nerdy Boy, but even more in this! Zep and Eros are a perfect fit for him. Jaxon was perfect with Zep, I loved seeing him being able to give him what Eros couldn't. And how Eros completed the trio. This series fast became a favorite of mine!
Could have been great -- too bad the author just sex jumped instead of writing a story. Don't get me wrong, the sex was hot. but there were few connecting elements and way too many blank spots and missed opportunities to craft a great story. It was like watching rabbits; they get at it - and they eat - they get at it and they sleep- a week later - rinse and repeat.
I enjoyed this book. The first one is one of my favorites from West Greene but this one was really good too. Super spicy and lots of emotions. I really felt so bad for the trauma that Zep had, but I was happy that he’s found not just one but two men to help him come out on the other side.
