Killing Snow

I LOVED THIS BOOK! I’m not going to lie I was having a hard time at the beginning because of the dark contents on it but the more you read the better it go, and please believe me when I say this book has some very dark comment so please check your trigger warnings ⚠️, it is not for everyone and your metal health matters.
Everly after enduring so much pain, violence and abuse in her life she was able to find a way out and let me tell you she did it beautifully this woman is my spirit animal. I wan to be her when I grow up hehehe but yeah, the way Maree brings her OUT of all that pain and trauma was amazing, she becomes this recon of fire, she converts all of her hate and pain into something you will not expect. It was an amazing story it developed so good and the plot will keep you so entertain.
And as we already know Maree’s book have the juiciest, hottest smuts scenes and holly WAO this one is obviously H O T! There is a chapter on this book that will have you 😈🤤🫠😏 in all your feelings lol! I can’t wait to have more in this society story.

We were first introduced to this amazing story in the anthology that came out last year, but then Maree turned it into a full length novel. And when I tell you that it was the WORST thing ever to wait so long for the rest of this story, I'm NOT exaggerating! Lol. The ending to the piece from antho was brutal and I needed answers. And thankfully, the time has finally come!
I absolutely feel soo hard for Everly. As if she hadn't been put through enough already with her past, she has to endure so much more.
Even through all of the trauma, Everly comes out stronger than anyone. She's definitely one of my top favorite FMCs because she's just so hardcore and strong! I wish I had an ounce of her strength, honestly.
When she changes the way of the game, it really changes the dynamics of everything...and it leaves you wanting more and more.
Oooooh and these men....boy they'll have you dying to line up for them 🫠 they're each so different, but what they share is putting Everly as their priority and that is so beautiful in itself.
But don't worry, check out all the other authors who are participating in this shared world to see crossover characters, it's amazing!

Let me first say...
I'm so glad Maree completed Everly's story!
(We got the beginning of her story in part of an anthology, called SNOWED IN.)
She gave us a captivating plot from start to finish. Finally, giving us a satisfying and perfect ending for Everly and her men!
There was steam, a bit of suspense, lots of feelings and more!
Everly, our FMC manages to escape her stepfather after years of abuse. Thats when she runs into the guys. While she is battered and bruised, she isn't completely broken.
We see so much growth her character. She becomes a true warrior.
Rayth, Killian, and Damon, I loved each of them. As Rayth says..."We aren't good men, but we are your men."
These three would do anything for Everly. They helped her to grow and become the woman she was always meant to be.

This story starts off with a bang and does not slow down until the last page. Everly escape her captivity and was rescued by three men. Everly is treated with gentleness by them which she was not used to. After time and she is healing she doesn’t want their gentleness and she is not shy asking for what she wants. But Fate has other cruel, dark and twisted plans for Everly. Folks hold on because the story gets really dark and bumpy. But all this has made our girl stronger and revenge that much sweeter. It is full of none stop action until the last.

I was really unsure when I started reading this, I found the story a little back and forth, it wasn’t very clear. Once it really started flowing, things started to lock into place and make sense I was really gripped and captivated by it! Definitely a really good read - I would definitely recommend 🙌🏼

I think this is my new favorite book by Maree Rose! This wonderfully written dark romance captivated me from start to finish. Everly’s story had me hooked right from the beginning. She is a strong FMC who overcomes the struggles and trauma inflicted by her stepfather.
The MMCs—Rayth, Killian, and Damon—are amazing, each with their own unique personality. Killian is definitely my favorite!

Let me start by saying this book is quite dark, so I recommend checking the trigger warnings if you’re sensitive to certain topics.
From the very first page, this book is intense and doesn’t let up, keeping me hooked throughout the entire story.
Everly endures horrific trauma at the hands of her stepfather. What I admire most about her character is her strength—she remains a fighter throughout, even though she has moments of vulnerability. Despite everything she goes through, she continues to push forward.
The male leads—Killian, Rayth, and Damon—were fantastic. I loved how they not only protected Everly, but also empowered her, allowing her to reclaim her own power. They didn’t hesitate to teach her self-defense or to support her when she expressed a desire to learn how to fight back, even to the point of violence when necessary.
This book definitely delivers on the spice. While I usually enjoy the trope of insta-love in some books, I felt it didn’t quite work here. The characters literally lay eyes on Everly, claim her, and are essentially in love. I would have appreciated a bit more time for their feelings to develop naturally.
The spicy scenes, while intense, also felt slightly off to me. Everly explains her desire to engage sexually with them as a means of regaining control and confidence, but given the trauma she’s experienced, it felt a bit jarring. Of course, I understand that people cope with trauma in different ways, but it still struck me as a little unusual.
Overall, this is a fast-paced, dark, and spicy read that will appeal to readers looking for that kind of intensity.

Back in December, I read the novella (not sure if you would call that the prequel or not) Snowed In which introduced you to Everly, her horrible step father who was keeping her chained up, torturing her and doing unmentionable things to her, and the three men (Killian, Rayth and Damon) who found her in the snowy woods barely alive and brought her safely back to their cabin (house) to take care of her and….well 😏😂. At the end, the men leave her alone to do a job and her uncle shows up claiming he had the men use her and they never wanted her and he takes her back.
Here we are….Kï!!ing Snow!!! What an amazing end to a great beginning of the story. It starts right up where it left off so with Everly explaining where she is, what her step dad is doing to her and her feelings about the men. The men who left her, used her, and only saw her as a “prize” her step dad gave them.
The men are completely flabbergasted on what’s going on. It’s not until they see bł00ď on the ground that they realize, something happened to their poor Everly.
I don’t want to say a whole bunch because it will give it away, but let me tell you, these men are just it!!! Their love for Everly is crazy and the way they help and guide her to regain her power back from her step dad is amazing.

This book by Maree Rose is my all-time favorite. It's a five-star read, without a doubt. I couldn't have asked for more; Everly is the character I've always dreamed of.
Everly isn’t the typical FMC, her willpower allowed her to survive her stepfathers torment. She had the physical advantage of three gorgeous men, Killian, Damon and Rayth, but she survived on determination.
Everly was not your “helpless” FMC and that is what made her character so alluring, she went through mental, physical and sexual abuse – literal torment. None of this stopped her from becoming more powerful than her abuser. Maree does an incredible job at balancing Everly’s trauma with the stories and backgrounds of each of the men that helped her become a leader.
One of the best parts of the book were the moments that Everly had with Rayth, Damon and Killian. Getting to know each of their characters and their unique quirks was special (it felt like you were getting time with each character). I can honestly say that each character found a different place in my heart. I might be partial to Rayth – but there was a beautiful balance between characters and how they interacted with one another. The interpersonal relationships were beautifully written.
I didn’t want this book to end, and I hope that Everly’s story will continue. I don’t think I could have predicted any of the major plot points – the setting, plot and character development, all incredible.

If you are wanting a strong FMC who went through hell and came out as a bad*ss and has the most devoted obsessed men this is the book for you. This was a fast read with a fast pace story wise. The pace may be a little fast for some people but sometimes I want a book that gets right to the plot and smut without an overwhelmed amount of fluff and this is perfect.
Everly is a poor girl who is abused constantly by her stepfather. By chance and luck she is able to subdue him and get away. Unfortunately she runs out into a snow storm and almost died before being found by our lovely MMC psychos (with love). Killian, Damon, and Rayth take care and nurse Everly back to health while also promising death to whoever abused her. In this time they are becoming obsessed with her and Killian, especially, has no plans to let her go again. But when coming back from an outing they find Everly missing and while doing whatever they can to find her, they slowly start losing their minds.
By the end of this book, Everly and her Men will prove to devotion and strength and I was rooting them on they whole time. I enjoyed this so much and can’t wait to read the other books in this connected world!

There are no words for how much I love this book. This is Everly’s story. After years of abuse at the hands of her step father she finally has a chance to escape. She gets caught in the cold and snow and is found by Killian who brings her back to his cabin where she meets Damian and Rayth and together they nurse her back to health, help her begin to heal from her trauma and take back her power. These men are filthy in the best way.
It’s clear these men have secrets. The way they care and fall for Everly is beautiful. I absolutely love their relationships. I absolutely love the growth and evolution of Everly’s character throughout the book. She goes from a broken and traumatized woman to an absolute badass.
These men are ruthless murders but watching them with Everly, the emotions she brings out it in them is so sweet I absolutely love it. I really hope we get more in this world full of revenge, strength, love, passion and absolute badassery.
It’s clear these men have secrets. The way they care and fall for Everly is beautiful. I absolutely love their relationships. I absolutely love the growth and evolution of Everly’s character throughout the book. She goes from a broken and traumatized woman to an absolute badass.

Whew, Maree Rose does not miss with her spice god damn 🥵. There is definitely a slightly bigger focus to the spice compared to the plot in this one (which I didn’t hate) though the plot we did get was intriguing and the twists were great as always! Everly was a strong fmc who survived so much sh*t and she was great to read. The men - Killian, Damon, and Rayth - were all just YES PLEASE, but unfortunately you don’t get to know the characters backstory too much in this one. It’s a fast burn romance - like prepare yourself the spice HITS and it hits quickly 🤭. Overall - this one is a great quick and spicy read with of course tr!ggers involved so check those!

Killing Snow by Maree Rose is a dark why choose romance. This was a good quick read. I liked the characters, the plotline, and the spice. This book was more smut then plot but it still had a plotline. I enjoyed the book overall. I really wish it was longer. I felt like the ending was a tad rushed but I still enjoyed it. This book was spicy and was why choose.
Everly has been through hell and when she finally takes the chance to escape she gets stuck in a blizzard. She ends up being found by three mysterious men who she has an instant attraction to. I loved seeing Everly overcome her trauma and get her revenge. I support women’s wrongs and rights lol. Killian, Rayth, and Damon were all morally grey, strong, and protective. Amazing! This book blew me away!
Maree Rose is a great Author. The book is a page turner and the content is very dark and powerful. Although the circumstances are unique to the story I found a kindred spirit in the ever evolving female lead. Her story is heart wrenching yet with the three men by her side she transforms her fears, pain and circumstances into a strong women who finds strength to take on her greatest evil foe, her step- father . This has so much heat its spice is off the charts with her three men! It’s a Why choose, dark story with an evil secret organization twist. It has an HEA and is part of a number of standalone that other Authors have written. This five star review
is well deserved and I recommend it highly!

This is part of a secret society, shared world.
Everly, this is her story with her drool worthy guys! She has dealt with so much at the hands of her stepdad until she's had enough and escapes. Well, in those plans of escaping, she didn't take into account the snow.
In walks Killian to the rescue along with Rayth and Damon. These 3 hotties save her and nurse her back to health, but they are hiding something, BIG.
While Everly thought she escaped, her stepdad had other plans, and she learned just what the guys were hiding!!
Thus was such an amazing story and seeing two books come together is amazing!!
I can't wait to read the rest of this world.

I love all of Maree’s work, this is definitely a new favorite. Omg this book was amazing!

I am astounded by this book. Maree Rose has once again delivered an outstanding piece of work. I have read nearly all of her books, and I have never been let down. She is my go-to author. The way the three characters handle Everly, protecting her, melted my heart. Witnessing their growth together was definitely the highlight for me.

This dark romance had all the things to really make a good dark romance. When Everly escapes the constant torture and rape of her stepfather she finds herself in the wilderness that has been covered in snow, but freezing to death is better than staying in that cabin any longer. It’s by pure luck that someone finds her out there and saves her from death. So what happens when you wake up from your sure death to be surround by three handsome men who nurse you back to health? You open up to trusting them in more that one way. That is until things get a little messy. I love every second of this book and can’t wait to see what Maree comes out with next!

This book broke me an put me back together all in one the way these men were with Everly was something extraordinary to read 🥹. Killian, Damon, & Rayth had me mad an angry at times, but they do not hold back 💔. Everly is a gem to read she's a broken soul that's been hurt that she doesn't know who to trust, but still has a shine that can't be put out.

I could not put this book down! It was everything I was looking for in a why choose romance! The men were giving “touch her and you die” vibes. They took amazing care of Everly but also let her grow and find her independence. What more can a girl ask for??
The execution of this book was flawless! The spicy scenes were 5/5 and the plot had me on the edge of my seat the whole time! The growth of Everly throughout the book was truly heart warming.
I can’t wait to see what Maree comes out with next!

So many highs & lows for Everly in this book. She's being held captive by her stepdad. She thankfully escapes, but into a snowstorm where she almost dies, but she gets rescued. Although hesitant at first, she gets to experience what a safe, protective environment is with 3 bad but good guys, Killian, Rayth & Damon. They all have their own connection with her & will do anything to keep her safe. They teach her how to protect herself & you see her evolve into a badass woman who fights for her freedom. Good spice & great read.

So i this book is part of a series of books about a secret Society that has crossover characters, but the books are written by different authors. How freaking cool is that?
Can I just tell you I love the MMCs in this book. We got a taste of them in “Lost in Life” by kitty Rose. Secrets Society, why choose, overprotective MMCs, bad ass FMC. And so so much more. this book is well written great character development great world building plenty of spice great side characters. I’m excited for what to come.

This book is a fantastic read, it had me hooked from the beginning. I love how strong the guys are and how they help Everly become the woman she wants to be - strong, sexy and powerful. Everly never lets what has happened to her get in her way of achieving anything she wants to. The sexual chemistry between Everly and her guys is off the charts and leads to some deliciously spicy moments throughout the book. Please read the TWs though as this book has some heavy topics but if you are okay with them this book won’t disappoint!

Huge fan of Maree Rose. Her why choose are my favorite 🤤
This one is centered around Everly and her men. She had a rough go around but managed to escape, while on the brink of death the men find her and nurse her back to health. Being stuck in a cabin with men who treat you quite differently than where you came from made the attraction sky rocket. They soon became her everything. They teach her how to become an absolute badass while still having that submissive side for them. Killian was 😮💨🔥 I absolutely loved all the men though, I am an absolute sucker for a why choose with muscley men.

I first read this as part of an anthology and I couldn’t wait for Maree to write the next part.
And let me tell you.. it did not disappoint, to know have read the whole story from start
To finish I am broken, on the floor and healed all at the same time!
Again the writing style was beautiful and found it’s way into my heart and made me want to cry at times and also want to be@t someone lol

I actually quite enjoyed this book. It was about 60/40 smut/plot which was nice.
There was only one plot twist in this really compared to what Maree usually writes but it was a good one. I was just waiting for the other shoe to drop while they were safe in the cabin and by God did it slam down.
The characters were kind of interesting but as usual you don't get to actually find out much about the MMCs which is a little disappointing.
Be warned though ⚠️ there is plenty of blood and I was worried they'd get an STI in one of the scenes 😅
