I read this cover-to-cover over a period of several months. I think that there were one or two historical references that struck me as Eurocentric, but aside from that, this is an awesome guide to hikes in Michigan that are suitable for and interesting to many children. It’s interesting to read, and I’m looking forward to doing more of these hikes with and without my kids.
