I finished From Ghetto to Guerrilla: Memoir of a Jewish Resistance Fighter FIRST EDITION edition by Samuel Lato (2006) Hardcover and honestly couldn't tell if I was impressed or just tired. Samuel Lato throws so much at the wall that the good stuff gets buried. When it sticks, though, it really sticks. Recommend for readers who like abundance, skip if you want a clean, focused read.

It was an honor to read this man's story. Many people often wonder why the Jews did not fight back during the Holocaust and this provides an account of the actions of the resistance fighters and his story is truly remarkable.
